This week's combos aren't great. Looks like a Bathurst week.

Yeah, agreed. Not a fan of Monza but not sure what car is being used as the companion app doesn't state it. I guess Gr4 at Bathurst isn't as bad as Gr2/3. In two minds whether to do the Gr3 race at Tokyo.

I did enjoy last week's races. Did one race at the short Redbull Ring circuit and finished 4th, three races at Blue Moon Bay and finished 3rd, 1st and 2nd respectively and finished 5th and 6th at Lago Maggiore. Very rarely do I do more than one of each race.

Its the 500 Arbarth at Monza, the 3 races I did today were clean and good fun. I think Gr3 at Tokyo might be an SR nightmare, although the Ford is fun round there, Bathurst will probably take most of my time this week, I'm really slow there though smile

I see the chicane cutters are on the leaderboard for Monza, another week of dodgy track limits, not seen anyone try it in a race yet though.

I've given up on GTS now. The penalty system is worse than ever.

Enjoying F1 2018

Sadly so. With wall-riders on Tokyo.

I used to be able to do a 2:11 around bathurst with the Megane. I'm some way off that at present.

Seems like the game has gone full circle and now getting drop in SR and penalties when getting hit from behind. Good eh?

Yeah. I was watching the live stream Super GT had on last night and two cars made contact but he got a 5s penalty and he never got touched. I'm redoing all the campaign events and trying to beat my time as well as doing the Beginner to Endurance races trying to get a clean race.

I'd like them to put some indicators on the primary menus to show you which events you've completed. Going into each of the sub menus is an arse.

Agreed. I like to practice in the Arcade section yet when you come out of there and want to drive on another track, it takes you to the home screen! There needs to be more shortcuts to get to various menus/options.

I suck at Bathurst. Watched some of the top 10 laps, looked easy enough on a 2:11. Tried it and couldn't even break the 2:15 (although I couldn't get a decent lap together).

I'm blaming not having a Megane wink The whole top 10 is using it

Refuse to drive that ridiculous Tokyo circuit for gr3 tho

If you can still pick it up cheap - like under a tenner - then dirty rally is worth a punt. Too be honest I play i have only played it 2 or 3 times, a lot less than GTS and AC, as it's rock hard and I'm crap (I can't concentrate on the pace notes very well, although sometimes they see wrong too Erich doesn't help). Also the tarmac FFB is completely messed up on my wheel which is very off-putting

It's not bad, sort of a cross between GTS and AC..

I hadn't noticed all the stats now visible on your profile screen on gran-turismo.com Shame the numbers aren't right, but it wouldn't be Polyphony if they'd nailed it first time.

I did a couple of races yesterday - the first time in months. Nerfed off three times in three laps by people trying to overtake when the opportunity just doesn't exist. Hard work, I went back to creating a livery.

Stick with it... the handling is on another level to GTS, as is the car and track list.

Some of the cars are awesome to drive.

I gave it another go tonight, the Huracan is a heavy feeling, understeering car in every game I've tried smile, the formula Renault and the gt3 Ferrari feel great, AI are more of a challenge than GTS, and I like the way the track changes in the heavy rain, I'm still learning how to navigate the menus with the G29, I have the FFB set to a nice feel now though. I can see me playing GTS on a Monday when the new weeklies start, I really like the online racing and daytimes seem to attract the more patient players, I think PC2 will be the perfect fill in for when I can only play evenings or its a combo I don't like on GTS.

I did the B & C races and got smashed all over the place by morons galore. 5sec for scraping a wall? It's a pathetic penalty system at times. In two races my SR went from S to B! Next weeks races, I'll start from the back to raise my SR.
