You can play the game, but you can't play sport mode online without paying for MSN access which I haven't paid for for months. Might have three months over Xmas, maybe.

Didn't realise you were the police. And I would seriously worry about that data as I can tell you for a fact I have not played Sport mode online for several months, I can't remember exactly when I last did, maybe at my uncles briefly in the summer, but it was hideous so I stopped. Perhaps he logs on and it registers me as playing? I doubt it as he hates it too.

Just trying to understand the issue. Last time ref. The rubber banding I did some testing to get some data together for reference.

This time ref. Online being for aliens only etc. Just trying to get the facts. Seems getting decent SR definitely helps with cleaner races after all.

I notice rubber banding in a lot of offline races too as that is all I play now really, it is a common thing in most racing games, utter laziness and false difficulty by devs.

The amount of times I have been in a race of say 5 or 6 laps round a simple track like Willow Springs, got the lead in 3, then been chased down by the same guys I was catching by 5 secs a lap for the rest of the race is amazing,

Then you notice the fastest lap set int he race is simply impossible for you to match by some AI in 4th palce or something.

Surely this must happen to other players

Yes, this happens to me also. One lap you're 8 secs in front and the next lap they're on your rear bumper.

Since the new tyre model was introduced, I've started the whole campaign section again. I've done the amateur and intermediate races again so I can do all the races cleanly and will start the professional one tonight. Really been enjoying that quite a bit.

Yes, I have also started trying to win the most money, using lesser cars in certain races and trying to get a clean race bonus.

Find that rather tough on some tracks as the AI are so inept in certain areas, yet very fast in others, it is often very tricky to avoid making contact with them.

They seem to brake stupidly early, then power into the middle of the bend, which makes them miss the apex completely and then get in the way on the exit, takes a fair amount of planning to win a race against something like a La Ferrari, when you are competing with idiotic AI all the time!

HammerStudiosGaming channel is a good source for setting cars up. He did a set up on the first road Porsche 911 in the game where you can win the 15 lap oval race in the Professional section and get 345000 credits provided you get a clean race. Do five of those and in an hour you get close to 1.73mil credits. This includes beating the LaFerrari.

Does anybody else upon loading the game, get the stupid this weeks championship page up every single sodding time the game loads.

Surely once I have clicked on it, it should not open again every time I load the game?

is this is a bug or just polyphony desperately trying to get people interested in a series for about 100 people worldwide,

Please stop, its very annoying

I've been spamming that now and again as it's an excuse to get the F40 out and generate credits I'm only averaging around 200k though. It's very rare I get a gift car I don't have now and I've got a couple of the big ticket items still to buy.

Shame creating liveries doesn't come with rewards. It would be could if they would allow you to sell them on a marketplace within the game.

That’s exactly why I’m doing this often so I can get the seriously pricey cars but it can get dull after a while.

I’ve just stumbled across a bug which I’ve not seen before. In the Mission section within the Campaign events, the 15 minute Blue Moon Bay and the 30 minute Interlagos races have a bug where they slow down to a crawl during the latter part of the race. It seems that the other cars pit and fill up to 3-5% worth of fuel and then they run out. You’re basically dodging them as you lap them.

Yes, every single day. There should be a checkbox to give the option to stop these messages.

Yes of course, no real hardship, but surely it should not be popping up every day, it's a bit of an oversight, and its been going on for weeks now.

I've used the link a couple of times to watch the regionals.

Had a look at the European final, N500 race was a cracker, Catalunya looks decent.

Sadly the stream quality wasn't great at times. Hopefully they have live recordings which they can piece together for highlights later.

Nice we're having more real world tracks so i really shouldn't complain but that track (if it's Barcelona / montmelo) wouldn't be in my top 10. It's probably not even in my top 10 of F1 tracks over the past few years...

I’ve never thought of watching it via the PS4 as I’m usually in the playseat ready to race. I’ve been watching it via YouTube on the Apple TV.

I’m looking forward to the new track and glad that we haven’t got Silverstone or Spa yet as pretty bored of those.
