I hadn't tried the Gr.3 until this evening. I got down to 1:46 and was still 3 seconds off so I watched the replays. Then dawdled through that set of barriers on one lap and immediately found a second. With practice I'm sure I could whip through there quicker and get 1:44. I probably won't race on there so I won't bank that benefit in terms of a grid position but there's a major glitch there (again).
What with the starting bug and the broken track limits, it's not great at the moment, I've not seen anyone go through those barriers in a race yet, and Catalunya is a good track and a good challenge in Gr3, most race fastest laps in the A/S lobbies are mid to high 46's, once you get past the starting bug the races can be pretty good. FIA tonight... N300 at Fuji GT and Gr4 Aston at Monza for me, looking like a no stop on mediums for the Aston.
Well after a couple of practice lobbies...the SFR concept is no match for a GT40! Tyre wear and fuel are a non issue, I'm going to have to try and stay in the slipstream . No stop on mediums at Monza doable but a bit sketchy on the last lap!

Started playing again last night after a good few months away from it, after downloading all the updates! had no problems with getting kicked out but did have a really odd bug, in 2 of 3 races I did (daily race b's) I had one car stuck at the back of the grid flashing about all over and never moving from the grid, almost looked as if they had major lag, don't ever recall seeing this before, just me or anyone else getting it?
Turns out the SFR did pretty good! Qualified 5th...finished 14th, don't ask! Did a no stop on mediums at Monza and finished 2nd, softs were worth 2 secs a lap, I had a 6 sec lead after the pit stops, so fair play to the guy who chased me down. I'm liking the FIA races, one odd thing was the guy who was on pole cut the 2nd chicane on his pole lap and didn't get a penalty, I was following him, I'm not sure he cut it on purpose, and he didn't feature in the race.

It's a known issue..hopefully fixed today.Has anyone noticed a difference regarding grip levels on the latest update or is it just me? I tried the Gr.3 race C at Catalunya and tried qualifying with the Viper, then the 4C and then the 911 but I just couldn’t keep it on the track! During lap 2 in the race I rage quit as I spun 3 times. Was pretty frustrated.
Was it me or did the first stream from the world final thing seem a bit flat? For people invested in the game who know the cars and the tracks and appreciate the skill level, then yeah, it's fascinating, otherwise it's just another car race, hard to see how they're going to attract the Rocket league/Overwatch type audiences.
