Yup. Make a lovely livery and Polyphony just whack a sodding great number on it.
OK thanks.
It’s a bit annoying as it really spoils the look of a car. Ironically I went to one of the settings in my garage and put it at, ‘no number’ thinking it would cure it.
How wrong I was.

Is it me, or is that Gr3 Lambo in the new circuit experience an utter pita?
It was horrible. It wouldn't turn in and then would oversteer. Managed a 1.47:5 over the lap but decided against another go.
I tried it this morning. Horrendous, had to tip-toe round everywhere. Scraped a gold by a couple seconds way off everyone else's time but it's such a miserable car to drive I just couldn't be bothered too try and improve.

I find it amazing that Forza has new car packs every month containing real petrol head cars like the new M5 for example and yet Gran Tursimo constantly turns out old/turd cars all the time - where are the modern hot hatches and sports cars - it really does show a lack of imagination and understanding of their target audience I think.

I'll normally put a few laps in on circuit experience as I find it a useful way to improve..not in that car though! Apparently when you get your head around it, it's not too bad and can be fast, I'm 8 secs off the top times smile I need to do the brake glitch and cut the chicane..biggrin

I'm new to GT...but for me the game is all about the online racing, I can just jump on and race, no faffing, full grids, loads of lobbies to choose from and a twice weekly FIA event, I'm a huge fan smile

Agreed. This has always been one of GT’s problems. One look at the car roster from something like Forza and you can see there words apart.

At least the new track is easy to learn. For anyone finding the weekly and FIA racing a bit samey, I can recommend doing some of the gtplanet events, the few that I've done have been really good, it's nice to do something other than the kick and rush weekly races or the x15 tyre wear FIA stuff.

I decided to do the only drifting task in this game and that is with the Mustang in Driving school. I would've made the top ten but it just wouldn't register my highest score? Tad bizarre.

Not driven any of the new cars yet despite purchasing most of them.

I do enjoy the updated races within the campaign mode but some weeks I cannot be bothered with the dailys! as the combinations don't interest me. Last time I did the dailys! was with the Gr2's at Fuji and the GT86 GRNM at Le Mans. Proper good races.

Booted GTS up for the 1st time in a couple of months yesterday. Ran a few of the career F1 events to drum up some cash and bought the 356 and Dino... then off to the 'Ring.

The 356 is slow, but is properly tricky to drive with the rear toe wound back and comfort hard tyres - lethal levels of turn in oversteer make it really fun to drive biggrin

The Dino is one of the best cars in the game on comfort mediums - loads of entry rotation, and then you can jump on the gas and hold massive drifts out of the corners... grip/power balance on CM's is perfect!

It seems you can now get banned from the daily races for having too many collisions. This applies even if you get punted up the rear so overall, its as good as the penalty system.

Got a space left in a Gr3 sprint series over on gtplanet if you fancy a change, all levels of drivers.

This weeks races look like an absolute SR killer...I've been doing some of the campaign races in cockpit view, makes a nice change.

I'm really enjoying Bathurst in the dark. It's very easy to start far down the grid and make up loads of places as everyone else falls off. Tonight I went from P12 on the grid to P5 at the end of the first lap and then just took it steady avoiding any silly mistakes as the leaders seemed to be about 10 seconds a lap quicker so no point attempting to chase them. I still made a few silly errors but finished in 4th and even lapped someone which is a first for me.

Nice one. Admittedly, I'm not a fan of Bathurst during the day so will give that a wide berth.....although I have been umming and ahhing about it so we'll see. Not interested in Race B but did Race A in the Nissan 350Z which was pretty good. Lost 500 DR points though but gained SR (back up to S from A) which isn't bad considering that the loss of SR is inevitable in Race A.

There was an Italian fella who had a 17sec penalty and was catching me and using the walls to ride around the corners. He ended up punting me hard but he got a huge penalty (59sec) and ended up quitting. That made me chuckle smile
