I heard the same in November 2020 but I heard November 21, it would make sense as it would then create media hype for the PS5 around Xmas so another sales boost for Sony.

It does make sense the fact that Sony even edited one of their YouTube videos to remove coming soon.

It’s been so quite on the news/trailer front for Gt7 it was already pretty clear it was delayed. I hope it doesn’t drag on for years.

Oh it will!

I said I’d buy a PS5 when GT7 is out. Maybe I’ll have to change that!

GT7 is the only reason I'd buy a PS5.

Just got a PS4, not played GT since number 5 I think!

Is this worth getting? I've been enjoying finishing in the bottom 5 % on the Forza horizon 4 pistonheads weekly challenge , is there anything similar for this game?

Thanks

There are daily races to take part in, the track, car and restrictions change every monday, here are this weeks: https://www.gtplanet.net/gt-sport-daily-races-2021...

There is also the FIA championships if you are looking for a longer competition.

Lots of people bhed about GT Sport because it doesn't have an offline mode like older games, you'll see people say stupid stuff like "its only half a game" or "its not a proper gran turismo" etc. THats purely because it doesn't live up to that they decided a GT game is in their own mind, not because PD pulled out features after promising them etc, it was intended to be an online game and for the most part it works quite well.

If you like racing against others there is no reason not to buy imho.

GT7 officially delayed to at least 2022..GTS gets an update today, fingers crossed for something good.

Oh well....seems it's softer penalties and a buff for the Mazda RX.

I'm similar in that I will wait to get a ps4 until GT7 launches. Maybe ps5 pro will be out by then??

Interestingly (well to me) I went back to gt sport after a few weeks focusing on playing Assetto corsa on my new PC. I found my driving on GTS seemed to be a lot better. I think the more serious nature of assetto has improved my skills a fair bit!

Just got this has anyone got any tips? I have done all the licenses and a couple of races. I think all of Sunday cup and 1 or 2 FR races if I remember rightly.

I haven’t played GT since GT3 and I am enjoying it. Years since I have had a console.

There’s the circuit events where you learn each part of the track. Completing all them with gold will get you a lot of cars from memory then you don’t need to buy them.

Anyone want a boxed disc copy of this for the cost of postage?

My PS5 went faulty and had to be returned with the disc stuck in it. I went back to my PS4 and bought a digital copy so I didn't miss out on the leagues I'm in. PS5 came back with a fresh GT Sport disc that is now surplus to requirements.

I would do as suggested above, do all the licence/campaign stuff etc, if you're interested in racing online then jump in and give it a go would be my advice, there's always someone faster/slower than you smile

Getting my braking points nailed was the biggest step to getting faster for me.

Round 1 of Manu tomorrow (tonight?) Who have people gone with for this season? I tried the Mazda RX VGT in last weeks race B as it's, apparently, OP but couldn't gel with it. Chose Lexus in the end. 6S, 8M, 6H with plenty of fuel saving seems the ingredient for R1.

Oh, and the new penalty system, hehehehehehehehe why can' they sort a compromise between any contact is a penalty and turning it off
