They need to figure out a way of recognising when you take measures to avoid accidents etc.It’s not going so well:

The majority of racers will not brake or take evasive action. They also will not wait to make a clean overtake, making banzai moves at every opportunity regardless on the time they'll lose. The last corner at Interlagos is a classic example. Why would you try to overtake there, rather than take the tow all the way up the hill for a straightforward clean pass at turn 1.
I'm back up to A/A after a clean race in the 2nd championship. The first race was a joke, the first time I've named a shamed a total knobber with in-game pictures.
As far as I can tell, you can't be A/C, so if you drop to SR C then your DR drops to B. Coming back up, it won't allow you back to DR A until your SR is A.
Conclusion: If your SR is at B, do what you need to do to preserve/improve it as it's a long way back if you drop.
Also, you don't have to be DR A to get good points. I just got 700+ in an all B/B race. Strength of field seems to be a big driver.

Happening to me constantly. I've decided to join at the last minute meaning I'm at the back of the grid. This means I let the morons in front smack each other off whilst I pick them off one (or two) at a time.Ive been thinking of any feature they could add in game that would improve the gameplay somewhat. It'll never happen but I know it would benefit a lot of people.
Once a lap (or even once a race), you get to 'ghost' yourself for maybe 5 seconds, either to protect yourself from a missile that's about to wipe you out, or to overtake an opponent who is purposely blocking you aiming to nudge you off the track. You would Sacrifice any positive DR for that sector or lap, but at least will have a better racing experience and not be infuriated every single race.
Ive spent 2 days trying to get into DR - A, currently in B but it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon
