Just ordered as well (Amazon, Game and Tesco all showed available about 2mins after the announcements)
I don't yet have a 4k TV so this is going to be an expensive Xmas!
Anything I need to look out for when picking a suitable tv? Last time I choose I went on both the input lag, and also wanted one without too many fancy processing features to try to keep the cost down.

For low input lag your looking at samsung as one of the best out there. I don't yet have a 4k TV so this is going to be an expensive Xmas!

bks, none left on Amazon.
Also have the issue of having a very expensive 3 year old TV that isn't 4k, I wasn't planning to change it for a few years, but it looks like that's going to have to change.
Edit - got one reserved from Argos.

Have pre-ordered one through John Lewis, the first time I've ever pre-ordered a console but am really looking forward to PC2 & FM7, just need Thrustmaster to announce when they'll be releasing the TS-XW, the cost of a setup to play some racing games is going to cost about as much as my daily car :/

I bought a Panasonic 4K TV with HDR for my PS4 Pro. It is THX Certified and picture quality really is something else. I didn't get any fancy features or crazy web enabled stuff as the PS4 Pro does all that much better. Also Panasonic where the only manufacture to offer interest free loans for 18months so I could get a better spec for little initial outlay (plus easier to sell to wife).Anything I need to look out for when picking a suitable tv? Damn why didn't I think of that ! Cancelling Amazon pre order now !Why do I need one? Does it make me fell better than others for having the project Scorpio edition?
I will be buying the Xbox to play on not look at. Simple as that
Itn the grand scheme of things, it's nothing major, but Digital Foundry have uploaded a video talking about the merits of the One X version of Rise of the Tomb Raider vs the PS4 Pro version, and the upgrade in graphical quality is substantial. I played the game on its original XO release, and it looked great, but the PS4 Pro release added three graphics modes; Favour resolution, Enriched visuals, or favour framerate.
Favour Resolution gives you checkerboard 4K on Pro, but One X gets native 4K, both at 30fps. Enriched Visuals on Pro sees the resolution drop to 1080P but you get extra detail in the environment, extra particle and weather effects. One X gives you those extra effects but does so with a checkerboard 4K image; a massive boost. Favour framerate offers 1080p, but unlocks the framerate; Pro managing typically between 50-60, with One X - at least in the areas tested - remaining locked at 60fps.
Yes, it's a two year old game, but it's still one of the best looking on console and it's nice to see there is potentially a usable and significant difference between the One X and the Pro optimisations. After the rather underwhelming Gamescom reveal, it felt nice to read something positive about the One X.
