Very 'League of Gentleman' I thought...

Is there a particular mission that ends Chapter 2 and starts the next chapter?

When there's a marker to meet Dutch in the secondary/smaller saloon in Valentine.

I was wondering the same thing, it appears I've missed it! Wasn't worth it though...

Have you tried crouching? Sometimes the positioning can be mega fussy about where you are before you get a prompt. It's hard enough getting Arthur to pour a cup of coffee in the campsite let alone find treasure!!

I’ve crouched squatted crawled jumped shimmied and prayed. No gold. I’ll rage murder the whole nearest town if I don’t get my treasure

You need to do it in a very specific order - you can’t just go to the spot and there it is - so you need to start at the beginning getting the maps etc in order

NO SPOILERS: Completed this now, my number one tip is to have a many "valuable" items as possible in your satchel before completing prologue 2

What a truly incredible story mode, although I enjoyed every minute of it I found the Saint Denis parts the least enjoyable. I Even enjoyed the Prologues. Now carrying on with all the side missions and collectible stuff

As it stands right now (without knowing anything about the online side) this is my Game of The Year.
10/10

My horse is called Nelly smile

Any help before I google it.
I found at the start of the game a few hours in a dismembered body handing up under the railroad bridge near Valentine. Picked up a few clues around the area but not found anything since.

Any suggestions or tips where to go next. I have been looking around but now on chapter 4 and I want to find out more

On the subject of treasure. Without giving anything away. I got a map. The picture is a mountain that looks like a head and a some more detailed instructions.

Should it be obvious to me where this is, or do I have to stumble across it? Am I just being a bit dim?

(Don't tell me where it is!)

Walk-through (and screenshots) URL here - https://uk.ign.com/wikis/red-dead-redemption-2/Tre...

I don't think it's obvious where to look for it.

Which is after there's a marker to meet John in Valentine to do a mission, in case the above is too vague.

Hi everybody,

I am currently greatly enjoying RDR2, as many of you are, and am playing it a leisurely pace (since I have naff all spare time these days). I realise though that there are many who have advanced well beyond the middle of Chapter 2 and whom may wish to discuss further developments, and while it's fine reading about hunting and satchels and graphics and dead-eye meters and such, I just don't want to click on the current RDR2 thread and irritate myself by stumbling across key information about the storyline that I didn't want to read.

Hence: here's a thread. Have at it! I'm off! See you in 6 months!

Am I missing something? I've not once seen mention of any of the main storyline missions or endings?
