On the subject of treasure. Without giving anything away. I got a map. The picture is a mountain that looks like a head and a some more detailed instructions.
Should it be obvious to me where this is, or do I have to stumble across it? Am I just being a bit dim?
(Don't tell me where it is!)
Its fairly easy to find as its quite a unique feature on the landscape, The 2nd map you then get gives a location which is easy to find, but I'm struggling to find the location shown on the 3rd map.Should it be obvious to me where this is, or do I have to stumble across it? Am I just being a bit dim?

I was also gutted when Arthurs horse (Zoe II) dies, had her since the middle of chapter 2, also gutted that arthur never saw mary linton again and his peaceful deer dreams dont appear to have become reality. . But the lead up to the end of chapter 6 is quite good and dramatic. I nearly considered ditching the game when you switch to johns character, however the rest of the map unlocks south and west of blackwater at that point. Ive not finished yet but the epilogue 1 and 2 seems quite tame, im assuming there is some revenge at the end or something.
Are you asking for spoilers? Edited by davebem on Wednesday 14th November 18:43
I finished the game yesterday, well the story. I am now deciding if to play it again as the map is open but I have nothing really I want achieve, I don't really want to hunt or rob people anymore.
I am also not interested in trophy hunting because if you want a laugh have a look at the trophy list.
1 trophy is get gold medals in all story missions, I dont think I could actually achieve that.
Another trophy is survive 18 bear attacks and kill the same bear lol. Again I have only met 2 bears and not killed either of them.
I think that coupled with the travelling difficulty probably means my RDR2 journey is now over. Great game. Plus I am still pissed that Arthur died of fking TB and it was not avoidable. . <<<< Thought I would add that incase somebody didnt read the thread title.

Am I missing something? I've not once seen mention of any of the main storyline missions or endings?
I have finished the story now. Even though I wouldn't spoil things for others on this thread at least I can have a good spoil on the other thread. Brilliant game though and I have really enjoyed it. For those now at chapter 4 and above get ready for the story to start gathering pace and enjoy it.
I love this game so much. I'm trying not to play it too much but it's impossible. I find myself sneaking off to the other room and switching on the PS4 whenever I have a spate moment.
The missus thought I was mad spending £50 on a computer game but considering I've been playing GTA 5 on and off for the last few years and how much entertainment it's provided against her £50 skin care products I think I'm the clear winner

What moron moderator decided to close the spoilers thread and then add major plot spoilers to this one?
Yeah cheers for that, whoever it was... What moron moderator decided to close the spoilers thread and then add major plot spoilers to this one?
Installed this game this morning. I pre-ordered it months ago, but it's a birthday gift for the wife who absolutely refused to receive it before her birthday
Anyway, it initially said it'd take 3 hours to install from the disk, but in the end it took about 40 minutes (both disks). I then installed two DLCs that came with the game (Special Edition), and they took about 2 minutes.
I've checked for updates, and it says the game is UTD. But I heard stories of people taking 12 hours and suchlike to download the updates on release day. Was that just down to bandwidth, or am I missing something?
