I wouldn't bother with grainger games they'll end up refunding you assuming you do get through to the site eventually.
I hope not but bet you're right. I've took a gamble and preordered with them anyway.I have the NES Classic and it's excellent.
Sadly i think the only place to buy one is on ebay from some scum who never wanted it in the first place.
Smyths dont seem to be doing pre orders so if your quick on release day you might get one, thats my hope.
Nearly had one yesterday as mate in Japan and over there they arent in short supply, but it looks like you cant change the gameplay language only the menu language.

Argos still apparently have stock for delivery. The site lets you add as many as you want to your cart, which doesn't inspire confidence.. either Nintendo really are ramping up supply or Argos are just speculatively taking orders.

As soon as my loft conversion is done and I get my man cave sorted, my original SNES will be coming out of storage. Rose tinted glasses are being cleaned as we speak...
The 16-bit graphics have stood the test of time pretty damn well (more so SNES than Megadrive given the larger colour palette). Compare that to PS1 or 2 games which look truly god-damn awful, by comparison.I've had my SNES out for some time and whilst it only gets occasional use Mario Kart, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Bomberman, Super Mario World, Secret of Mana, Legend of Zelda ... they are all just as playable today as they ever were.
