Please advise me on a game....
Discussion
Years back I was a fanatical cod then cod uo then cod2 player. I loved those games but multiplayer servers are few and far between nowadays with few players on them (I used to like the 64 player servers).
My issue is I want to play a fps game but it must meet the following:
1- ww2 based
2- busy servers for multiplayer. 32 players minimum and busy
3- all players start each game with the same choice of weapon. I tried world of tanks once and was basically in a baked beans tin whilst others were in challenger2's. completely pointless.
4- up to date graphics
5- not team based as in I don't want to have to use a mic whilst playing the game, I just want to do my own thing.
Thanks for your suggestion.

I'm pretty sure that no game would match your requirements entirely. The closest i can think of would be to wait for CoD WWII to come out later in the year. Looking at your requirements in turn:
1- ww2 based - Check
2- busy servers for multiplayer. 32 players minimum and busy. - The servers will be busy, as will the maps, but if you're taking about having at least 32 players on one map then no, the most i'd imagine you'll get is 18 in Ground War.

4- up to date graphics - Check

Still, four out of five isn't bad, depending on what exactly you meant by point 2.

Excellent thanks for comprehensive reply. I'll give that a whirl. 1- ww2 based - Check

I have it but it seemed to me that I spawn with a peashooter and you're part of a squad whereas I prefer to not have to use a mic and do as I'm told ty.Red Orchestra 2.
Prepare yourself for a jogging simulator with an honest feel good when you start to handle iron sights, bolt action rifles and nailing people on the run a few hundred yards away. Theres also a Pacific version called Rising Storm if you're more Yanks and Japs than Germans and Russians.
