Glad Maple valley is back, it may not be a "real" track but was one of the most enjoyable. On that note does anyone else find Silverstone really dull? I think it's the only track that's been in every FM game, I can see why it's there given its fame, but I just find it no fun to drive around.
I imagine Silverstone is amazing in real life, on forza games on the otherhand I'd side with you and would always fall asleep playing the track*

I am going to be getting this on the PC at some point (hope they don't have the same joke of a launch as Horizons).

Quick question, if I get an Xbox disc version does it come with a windows 10 key? Or is it linked to my xbox account when I put it in the system?

Thinking of ways to get around the horrendous price MS charge on the windows store.

Play anywhere currently requires you to purchase the digital version so unless they change that at some point you'll have to pay over the odds on the xbox store.

Use Xbox Store/MS Store gift cards. You can often buy them at significantly below face value.

For example, 10 of these would get you the standard version of the game for £41:

I did this to buy FH3 last year, got the game on PC on release day for £38.

The same trick can be used to buy the Xbox One X at the microsoft store. I think...

I've had every Forza up until now. I bought a wheel and found it just doesn't work very wheel, and that's due to poor car physics in Forza. I moved to Assetto Corsa and haven't looked back, moving to PC now.

Things to do once the game is out...

https://www.autoblog.com/2017/09/15/nurburgring-cl...
1.0 econobox Nurburgring lap, 10 minute lap target, 'track day car' mods.

BTCC. There were Classic Touring Cars, V8 Supercars and GT3 PH championships in FM6 on here. I tried and failed to get a BTCC setup started hehe . So 90's supertouring spec upto modern stuff.

Different car or class a week spec championships.

The demo is out on Tuesday 19th September.

Ultimate digital version is £71.99 at cdkeys.com, £68.39 with the 5% Facebook code. Full price is £79.99. So, yeah I've ordered the ultimate one hehe .

Reports of an (optional) 50GB day-one patch. Presumably this includes some tracks and cars. Full install will be 97gb on Xbox One, and that's before the 4K textures for Xbox One X…

I know – apparently it wouldn't be a problem if the Xbox One supported multi-disc games (not sure if they're planning on introducing that…)

45gb on the disc and 50gb download!!! That's going to take an awful long time to install, not to mention the fact that I've just checked and have nowhere near enough space on my hard drive. Looks like an external will be needed to install this and the other games coming out that I'll be buying.

Absolutely ridiculous!

At 3mb/s it will take 278 hours to download rofl

I can only dream of 3Mb/s frown
My Steam downloads are sometimes measured in kB/s, XBone is,wierdly, faster, but FM6 took about 3 days to preinstall,I'm sure this will be the same

Is the game release date US time, so it will be late afternoon or evening here? I can't remember when it was live last time.
