Is anyone else playing this? It appeared on the App Store this week. Endorsed by EVO. It's a bit like top trumps but with simulated races.

It's actually pretty addictive and free to play, so worth a look.

Yes, downloaded this yesterday and haven't stopped playing. Love the mix of cars. Definitely brings back Top Trumps memories!!

As you progress it actually gets pretty tricky.

My lack of performance 4wd cars is a particular problem as more and more races are off road. I hadn't realised there were so many dirt and rally cross tracks in London.

Seems I have found the fastest car in the game. I give you the Ford mondeo. Seat that Saxo.

Well I'm now addicted to this. Such a fun little game although equally frustrating when you can't beat some ridiculous stages. I like that it doesn't force you to take long play breaks or have an in your face pay to win aspect.

I rarely play games on my phone (save it for the PC), but this one has kept me interested. Some of the losses I've had have made me scratch my head though; in the first UK races there was a drag race, on dirt, against a 1971 Lotus Elan - and nothing I had could beat it, even a rally-spec Mk1 Escort. I know the Elan's were nippy, but to be trouncing rally cars on a dirt track seems a little far fetched.

Tyres are a massive factor. If you're on performance tyres they are next to useless on anything but a dry road.

I'm finding I can beat much faster cars just out of tyres choice.

Can you change tyre types?

Great game.

Am I missing something or can you not see the tracks before you commit to join the series? So annoying to pick all your top spec cars to find there is an Uphill snow course....

Got to a point where I'm in a 1 mile drag race against a Pagani Zonda, beats everything I've got by 200+ every time, literally nothing I can do about it. Games like this are fun, but get to a point where you need to spend stupid money to carry on, at that point they end up getting binned.

I found the key to success.

When you get to 3 stars on an event. replay it until you have collected all the bonuses. When you get a higher level you can then go back with better cars to easily win events you previously struggled with.
The key to getting better cars is winning against the "bosses" as you then get their motors.
I am still enjoying it, but do wonder how some of the players in the online bit managed to assemble their garages.

Currently trying to beat the German boss level. There is a 0-150 challenge, I've got an upgraded car that is supposed to top out at 167, but stops around 130 so I lose by 250 points! Can't get back from that. Anyone get a car that will do that speed?

I have an older Subaru car (To be honest, I hadn't heard of it before, somehting like Cyclon?) which does 155. I still lost that challenge but only by the standard -50.

My issue now is I can't get past Sweden. I only have three 4WD cars and the snow kills anything without 4WD or non performance tyres. Is there anyway to specifically buy 4WD cars? or at least change the tyres.

I bought an offroad pack with the ingame currency, and they were all FWD french SUVs.....

I've had quite a lot of 4WD cars just by collecting all the cards from lower level challenges... Maybe you've just been unlucky with those...
Other than buying the off road pack (which you would think would be 4WD) I don't think there is a way of specifically getting one.

I got the off-road pack and it have 1 4WD car (slow as hell) and three crappy level 4 city cars. Not impressed.
