I guess the cartoonish styling makes it more interesting to kids than Battlefield?
Battlefield has significant gore and swearing, think of it like Saving Private Ryan, whereas Fortnite is Tom and Jerry.
Yeah, the swearing is a eyebrow raiser when you first play it.

Although, it's GTA that really raises an eyebrow with the number of times the N word is used.
GTA is the Tarrantino of the gaming World.

In an idle moment I knocked the ball into the net on the football pitch in one of the parks. The crowd cheers and there are streamers and confetti. For a moment there, I was Marco Tardelli.

One of the battle pass challenges this week is to score at the different football pitches. There’s a makeshift one at Flush Factory with toilets for goal posts.

It takes 2 seconds to set the password and alerts up. Ignorance from the parents again who'd rather blame video games than look at themselves.
How do you set it up on PS4 to stop a purchase being made?

I bought Fifa for my 10-year old son the other day & it was far too easy. I trust my son 100% not to do or play anything he shouldn't, but he has his mates round sometimes and I remember what peer pressure was like!

All I'd like to do is to have a password for purchases.

Has he got his own account or using yours?

Try this, it should work.

Good work. I got caught by an enemy doing that the other day. I hadn't even got a gun before they knocked me off.

well, i've played for 3 weeks, and sorry to say but i'll be returning to PUBG and it's buggy but tense survival experience.

The building mechanic just doesn't do it for me, adds an unnecessary layer to a game that would have been fine without...I get why they did it, but it dilutes it too much for me.

That said, it does have plenty of good points (graphics/map design/UI to name a few), and i can see why it's doing well... PUBG could learn a thing or two here, it feels a lot more like a finished and complete gaming experience rather than a fan made HL2 mod.

Only just begun playing PUBG this past weekend - for me a sufficiently different experience to be able to enjoy both. Both have their place. Fortnite definitely feels more polished, and more fun, and quicker. But I have really enjoyed the slower pace and more tense survival feeling in PUBG - even feeling paranoid when driving a vehicle because you feel so much more visible to other players. Great game.

Vehicles can make a great defensive tool late game if you find the later circles are out in the open. Even if an enemy knows you’re there it won’t be easy for them to take shots at you.

Yeah, he uses my account - should be perfect that I'll sort it. Cheerssmile

For anyone who isn't aware (maybe they've not been playing for afew days)....

There's meant to be a live event happening at exactly 6:30pm GMT. it suggests that it's going to be a one time event so be logged in to witness it. Many of the rumours and undocovered info suggests that the missle/rocket from the evil lair in the west is going to be launched and possibly hit somewhere on the map.

It was an awesome spectacle from the roof of big red in Tilted.

Nope.

- there's part of the rocket that broke off has fallen and wedged itself into the floor in anarchy.
- there's a huge beam of light in the sky that looks almost like a crack. if you look up and aim towards it you hear what sounds like a heartbeat/footsteps. a thudding.

Amazed the servers coped - must have been a massive number of people online. Some great detective work + a pinch of theories about what's going on and what's coming next. Hats off to Epic for not only releasing a phenomenal amount of new material so frequently, but for having such depth and thought to it all - all the little clues, etc. Brilliant.

I thought it was happening at 7pm for some reason and just happened to be in a 50v50 when I saw the TV had 4 minutes on it in an apartment building.

There’s also a weird blurry entity at Lonely Lodge. I guess this is all to do with Season 5 and what’s coming up. Notice the detective agency has opened up next to the supermarket in Retail. The trucks, space rocks and stuff have all been filling in the craters and moving off towards West side of the map too.

There is blurry weirdness at the motel too. I logged on about an hour early and had a small login queue. I dropped into 50v50 to minimise the risk of being shot during it and it was great. Probably 90% of our team were watching it, you could see them all turning and following it on the map. At one point it nearly hit me as I had built myself a decent ramp for a better view. A very cool thing to be in-game for. Hope they do more of this sort of thing and would love to hear what numbers they had online for it.
