Nice shot! Right at the start of the game too.
Should have cut the clip before taking fall damage though
I was too busy laughing at the kill to get a platform built in time! Should have cut the clip before taking fall damage though
Had me in hysterics thinking about how that guy was going to explain to his squad how he had died before even landing!
I've got a few more nooby questions for Fortnite on PC:
Can my integrated laptop microphone be used for the ingame voice chat, or do I need a gaming headset?
I've avoided spending any money so far - Is it worth me buying a battle pass? What do you get?
If I invest in my PC Fortnite profile, can I use the same profile when I eventually get an XBox?
Where do people find the campfires that heal your health? I have seem them on youtube but never in game

It will depend on how good your Laptop mic is, but I doubt it. They're rarely up to Skype. Can my integrated laptop microphone be used for the ingame voice chat, or do I need a gaming headset?

Not for me, it doesn't change the game or give you any upgraded - it's all cosmetic. I'm tempted to pay for the PvE game, but knowing my luck the moment I do it'll become free to play.
No idea.
I've found two, in the attics of smaller buildings. The health gain is pretty slow.
Yeah, campfires are pretty rare and are very situational - their real advantage is that they allow you to heal and carry out your normal actions at the same time whilst healing. They also heal anyone near them.
So, they're good if you've built a fort, have taken damage so want to heal whilst shooting back. They're brilliant if there's a squad of you in a fort all taking damage and fighting back.
Other than that though, not as good as bandages for quick healing in solo.
As for the Battle Pass, I get a lot of value out of it as I'm motivated by achieving in-game challenges and unlocking the cosmetics. The Battle Pass gives you an extra 7 challenges per week. A nice side benefit is that you support a game that you enjoy playing. Too many people expect something for nothing nowadays, IMO.

Just started playing this over the weekend and it's a lot of fun. My younger brother is annoyingly good at it and our first 5 duo games we actually won.
Solo games are more of a challenge as they rely on building more, which is difficult to do quickly.
The sniper only game mode currently available (on xbox at least) is by far my favourite. Shooting someone in the neck with a hunting rifle is pretty satisfying.

They now have crossplay for Xbox/PC so you can make progress on the same account over the two platforms. Can my integrated laptop microphone be used for the ingame voice chat, or do I need a gaming headset?

My son got scammed in a trade on this game earlier. Not knowing much about Fortnite, is there anything that can be done or has he learnt an important life lesson???
So he swapped his game for a copy of Fortnite?Fortnite has 2 parts to it. The Battle Royale is free but the "Save the world" side costs money. Which did he get?

There is no trading Fortnite. To get Fortnite items you buy in game currency (V-Bucks) to purchase cosmetic items such as skins, axes, emotes and gliders.
There is no player to player trading possible, what exactly happened?
This. I assume the kid just lost an item he found in the game, which he would have lost at the end of that game anyway. There is no player to player trading possible, what exactly happened?
