Its 42gb, so that's about 7 DVDs.

But I think now if you buy on DVD all you get is a bit of it and you have to download the majority of it anyway.

I really enjoyed the first one, the second one seemed a bit too similar with the same sort of task early on in the game to get past a certain point. Although I'll probably buy it.

Maybe it’s just me but the gameplay is simply not as engaging as the first games.

Revamp of the graphics, stacks of boring story telling but lacks actual game play.

Seems to be the usual run around and shoot ‘em up with little thought or skill.

I really liked the original COD, up until now I really liked Wolfenstein and have played previous games numerous times. This one however is tedious....

I’ll keep playing but so far it’s pretty lame.

Im really enjoying it, but stuck at a bit where you get rushed by a bunch of nazis and just keep dying, doing my head in.

Mission is "penthouse" for anyone else at it. I'll probably get past it, i just hate bits where it feels like they make a particular bit like you ar supposed to die a lot to extend it a bit.

The guns dont feel like they do much damage too, hence why normal nazis take too many hits to just die and i get swamped as theyre everywhere.

Yup, agree about the number of bullets required to kill standard Soldiers. Also plenty of dying going on my side as well..... but keeps it challenging.

To be fair the game does get better and the weapon upgrades help. But the story scenes are painful.

Hopefully it’ll keep getting better.

I started playing on the hardest setting, soon knocked it back a little as it's hard as nails!

Enjoying it so far, hoping it opens up a little more as I'm finding the locations a bit cramped.

I won't be letting my 7 year old play this one. laugh

I really like the story bits. It's a sole singleplayee experience telling a story which I really like as we get so few good ones nowadays.

I'm also enjoying some of the humour like the sewer joke!

Saw a tweet the other day that hinted at somewhere in the game there is an arcade game with the original Wolfenstein 3D game on it (all episodes) that is fully playable - anyone know if this is true?

So did I for about 10 minutes.

It's 25 years since that was written, but it's still staggering how things have come on in that time.

Get the scope upgrade for the sturmgewehr, it makes it turns into a semi automatic and is far more accurate so you can headshot everything. There is also a perk that boosts aimed damage which increases as you get more headshots. The magnum upgrade for the pistole is good too, combined with the silencer allows you to take out enemies without others immediately knowing where you are. This puts the AI into a "search" mode surprisingly fast so you don't get swamped as quickly. Hatchets work well too, and the more hatchet kills you get the more you can carry.

If anyone is being put off by the dreary storyline, it goes a bit mad halfway through and gets a lot better. The guy from the trailer gets more than a cameo too.

I'm enjoying it so far, but whos idea was it to require you to press F to collect health??? I feel like a ****ing hoover, spend most of the time pointing at the floor hammering F so I don't miss anything. Totally boneheaded design decision in a game about blasting everything to pieces.

Yeah this bit is a faff, id rather it judt picked it up if you need it but the overcharge bit mught clasj with it. But in a hectic firefight looking at the health then pressing E costs precious seconds.

Just did this bit - will admit I just dropped it down to the lowest difficulty setting to get through after the first 5-6 deaths. Too much like hard work! biggrin
