seems Solo is the way to go as I got my first and only win yesterday. 4 kills but felt I was the hunter more than being hunted.
Much more fun in a group or 2 plus

Downloaded yesterday afternoon, finally turned it off at 3am!

Chicken dinner on 3rd game, found an lmg - one with the round mag and bipod and was lucky with the circle, camped out near a car and when it got to the last 20 jumped in that. Picked up a road kill and then it was 2 of us in cars in the final circle......

The lmg trashes cars

Screwed up the initial character setup, so my guys looks like a muppet, only had 1 loot crate... a new pair of jeans!

You need to hold LT or ADS, it’s not lag but may be frame rate ... at the load island grab whatever you can and test it out on a tree, you can see that spraying and praying on this game just doesn’t work.

I’m running a very old Orginal Xbox One and it doesn’t surprise me that people see / kill me quicker as it takes ages to render / load.

Also, everyone else is getting better, I have dropped from the top 1000 (EU/Solo) to 5000! Much better today, 4 top tens and 1 win.

I’m thinking of upgrading as it consistently crashes on mine.

I played Friday night and came in the top 10 most games, it seemed much easier than usual, however on Saturday morning I was useless and getting killed very quickly, the level of players on there were far better than I've seen before. it's still great fun though even if I haven't managed to win yet

The first few games were laggy/ RBing badly, but it got smoother as the night went on.

Aim acceleration set to 0 and had a fiddle about with aiming values.........

It works like a shooter on console!

Not sure about the FPP though. Sound seems like everything is VERY close. like hearing aids turned up to 11.

according to reddit setting aim acceleration to 10 turns it off and 0 will just mean that it won't kick in for a lot longer so still might 'feel' better.

My Brother's xbox seems to crash once every time we play (4-5:30 every day) which is getting very annoying - especially when he's driving and we end up nailing it in a straight line across the map in the wrong direction..

Was no better after updating yesterday :/ Game play seemed a bit better though, slightly less lag after the initial drop mess. Anyone else have an issue where they have to wait 20-30 seconds before houses go from floppy messes into actual houses that you can go inside? No usually a problem but when you drop next to another pair and you can't even get in a house let alone get and load a gun it's time for another game

there are a few things you can do to help fix this, whilst they're working on future patches. Firstly is your own hardware/settings. If you're using an original Xbox one then turn off DVR in the settings and (if you have one) load the game on an SSD (ideally) or HDD.

Gameplay wise, a few areas seem to affect it most. School, Military Base and Shooting Range (theory is it's the rendering of the larger buildings), also if you boost to top speed in the vehicles, it seems to cause crashes too.

Whilst it's not great that crashing might dictate how you play the game, not dropping there and letting squad members running the game on a 1X drive will pay off for now.

Never quite had it that bad. I moved the game to my external HD and it improved it a lot. Really only get it now if i do a fast dive to somewhere.

Played last night after the updates and found it a lot better in terms of FPS and generally jerkiness. found it difficult driving the cars in FPS though as couldn't get a good enough view of the surrounding terrain

I have a external HD but after buying the X have installed PUBG onto my xbox. The game has crashed on me once since it was out

What are everyones general tactics for the final circles?

I came 3rd last night but was left horribly exposed after purposefully arriving late to the final circle. The other finalists were safely camped behind trees and easily picked me off.

Putting some amount of time in to this. I am finding the crashing absolutely horrendous. Had 4 in about 1 hour on Sunday, got on for a bit last night and crashed 3 times over about 4 hours. Once whilst driving, logged back in to my car in the ocean & away to die. Second time was when myself & mate were heading to one of the final circles with about 12 people left, away to snipe someone and it froze, logged back in and I was dead.

Last time was just running to get further in to the circle, I kept running, as I logged back in my friend crashed, the game then freaked out and couldn't get back in to the match.

I realise it's early access but it's pretty poor. I don't mind glitches etc but continuous crashing is really annoying me.

My general tactic in the final couple of circles is to just die, I'm really fking good at it
