Announcement on the 23/5/18 but rumoured to be set in WW2.

Apparently someone figured out that if you read some plaque above a door in Fort De Poo (think its this map) then went to some poster or heard water dripping, which naturally is in Morse Code for ea.com/neverbethesame i mean who the fk has time to figure all that st out?

Still play bf4 even now. Bf1 Just wasn't as appealing.

Bf4 characteristics but set in WW2 Is a massive yes from me!

Much of the build from BF1 would mean it would make sense if it is WW2 as the foundations for it are pretty much there.

Was kinda hoping for a 2142 follow up though.

I think they said a year or two ago they don't want to go back to "future" stuff for a while......

9pm GMT. I'm hoping for it to go back to a BF3 and BF4 feel as I dislike BF1.

At the risk of sounding stupid I suspect that Vietnam (or Korea maybe so you can have jets?) will be after this which will be WWII.

Makes sense. I would very much like another Battlefield set in Vietnam. The original was the st.

If they did do another Vietnam, it'd be good if the followed the doomed mission failures on both sides or the atrocities committed as both sides seem to forget what they did.

Though I don't think the world would let you act out another Mao lei

I predict that as they will continue with the War stories idea and will pick multiple conflicts over time. Such as Vietnam, Falklands, Gulf, Boer ect.

It should make for really interesting balanced multi-player.

I'd love to see a game set in the Korea War.

I played one years ago on PC that was alright. Can't remember the title. It'd be great to see an all out one for console though.

It does seem true the train of though that humans have an unconscious appetite for conflict judging by the popularity of war games.

For me its a poor trailer. On the other hand reading/viewing a few of the views from those who had the private press briefing all looks good. Although of course they have a vested interest. Not long to EA Play when we will get a better view.

It looks like some sort of graphic, steampunk style fortnite game.
