Well I have to hold my hands up and say I got it wrong earlier in the thread. After playing for around 30 hours now I can say I’m really enjoying it. Sure it’s not perfect but I have adapted how I play and learned the game a bit more. When it clicks, teams are even and balanced it’s still the best MP experience out there. The nip and tuck of a tight game is a brilliant feeling.
The assignments are annoying me.
Got a few I'll never complete (Turner Mastery VI or something) which requires 20+ Headshot kills on an objective in one round and ones for guns I used a few times but hated, however the guns I now like and use dont appear in my assignment selction list..
It seems not only can you only have 4 active assignments but the "selction list" has a limited number of slots as well.
Stupid system.

The mastery VI assignments have a hidden third requirement it seems, something like 60ish kills of whatever type in total. You'll notice that you get it after a random round at some point as long as you have it selected.Got a few I'll never complete (Turner Mastery VI or something) which requires 20+ Headshot kills on an objective in one round and ones for guns I used a few times but hated, however the guns I now like and use dont appear in my assignment selction list..

How infuriating is it when you get put on a team of absolute idiots?
My annoyance is when im in a squad of 2 or 3 (and no other squads are available) and one of my guys is in a plane, and the other is just sitting at the edge of the map in an AA gun or something. Right then, i'll be spawning back at base and hiking in then....in BF1 I think every plan had at least 2 seats, so there was a lot of "spawn in plane and parachute in behind enemy lines". Ive only noticed one multi-seat plan in BFV, and the flight map is way bigger than the ground map, so invariably I ended up parachuting into the desertion area.

Cool shall give that a go. That should not take 2 long, couple of games of Grand Ops Pigdoguk said:

I've got sensitivity set to 41% and zoom sensitivity set to 61%. Ive tried higher but I always end up overshooting. I've seen the likes of the TBM using much higher sensitivities around 90% which is so fast, im not even sure how you get there. Is it a case of just increasing by a few percent each time and slowly? I still find that in generally killed before killing even in 1:1 situations. Not sure if that's just the server or ability.

I'm at about 75% and 80% respectively but yes it is definitely a case of building up to it, it makes a big difference to your game play. Just move up in 5/10% increments when you are comfortable with the setting you are currently on, you will wonder how you ever killed anyone when you put it back to 40%.thainy77 said:

Is that just because at 40% you're much slower? I find that I seem to up against one shot heroes, and meanwhile I load a mag into them with +50 (maybe theyre getting headshots and i'm spraying around the body)Chicken Chaser said:

Yes, a lot slower, just have a quick go with 40% and then 80%, the difference is massive, it's just getting used to it. It made me feel sick if i upped the percentage too much in one hit though. As for the one shot versus unloading a mag, that could be a number of things and not specifically how fast you move.
For those struggling with sensitivity, I'd echo the above about increasing it gradually.
There's also an setting option (on Xbox anyway) so each gun has the same uniform handling.
While your sensitivity settings make the biggest difference, each gun has slightly different characteristics. Enabling the uniform setting makes a pistol, AR, sniper all react the same. Much easier.

If anyone wants to add me on PS4 feel free. It’s killing me playing with random people who won’t play the objective. I don’t care if you go 0-25 as long as you try and at least get to a base! I’m not a microphone type of guy so I won’t be chatting but be good to play with some like minded people.

If the game is £20 now, the SP campaign is worth about £1
There are 4 levels (so far), each divided into 3 "acts". Each level needs to be replayed several times if you want to complete all the challenges/collect all the secret items to earn some unique melee weapons, and to do that sometimes you'll need to stealth it up, others are all guns blazing. You'll be sick of them long before you complete them 100% though.
L1 - Origins of the SAS - my fave, quite a stealthy mission across deserts with some good set-pieces. Let down by the two cheeky cockney characters ("Gor blimey guv!") and their constant "bants" that will set your teeth on edge.
L2 - Norwegian Resistance - another quite stealthy one, infiltrating a heavy water plant to rescue someone, and then escaping. You Play a woman for the diversity tick.
L3 - Moar diversity as you play a black French colonial soldier facing not just the enemy, but also RACIST INTOLERANCE from his own army. Pretty standard fare in terms of the level design.
L4 - Driving a (German) tank through a knackered city, with some sections on foot. Quite good fun on the whole, though while it feels like they were trying to be brave by the story being about a german tank commander, they cop out by making it clear hes a "nice" german commander whos just trying to do his best, rather than a Nazi fanatic like his subordinate.

I suppose I could do with a lesson in righteousness after the hedonism of Witcher (while I coldly mow people down with a Tommy gun).
