Speak for yourselves laugh
There will be a track/car combo that clicks into place for you i reckon.
This.
Also this. Apart from season 2 where I scored 2 points in 16 rounds, I've had a few weeks in the first and third seasons where it clicked (I'm not sure what got me the points in season 1 now, it's all blurred together a bit. This season it was the uphill dirt track with the Manx buggy and I managed to get third, but I am in the bottom half of the points or around 10th/11th more often than I used to be, and there are more people doing this now than in season 1. I have learned a few things about Forza car setup, and I think I've got a bit better at driving in the game. There are still weeks where I'm useless though hehe .
Ah, cheers guys, hope is not lost yet then laugh

Ummmm agreed... Just noticed the eclipse GT in Fast and furious colours.... I think I'll try some rear wheel drive cars first though.

Its a great track, speed is your friend so I think it will be a skyline fest (eclipse has potential)

I do quite like the old RX7 though.... Put in a sighter run with that, probably all I'll get time for tonight.

Plenty of scope for shaving big chunks off as knowledge of the route improves too.

Definitely, ill spend most of the week changing cars, gradually making them worse and not settling on a favourite laugh

I dunno, you only need to use the brakes twice in the MX5 laugh

I reckon it will be a fine balancing act removing just enough grip to trade for power so that you still just make the turns, but are also fast on the straight bits.

I've just been round in an '87 Skyline on Wanlee ditchfinders hehe

Eclipse is quite good so far, i was chasing AJP there and it felt like i needed NOS and a 14 speed gearbox to match his F&F paintjob .

There are a few different Skyline versions on the board, so hopefully it will stay to a range of cars through the week. I've just done the Mitsubishi GTO and Eclipse so far, I haven't tried any Skylines yet. It's definitely a speed track like Shinysideup says though, but still with enough grip to get through the corners.

Haha,

Yes, you must not forget that extra bit of accelerator pedal travel that you have too, as clearly you were not properly trying before..

I did tune up an eclipse and did the F&F paintjob but haven't tried it yet as I wanted to stick with rear wheel drive for a while..I thought that eclipse was front wheel drive so was surprised that it was 4wd.

Well there's 1.5 seconds to find somewhere in the Eclipse, I don't want to push it though

Well I know my place, stone dead last laugh

No points again this season for me, think it was Von who called me the force India of this couple weeks ago, more like Minardi now I fear, can't find a build or setup to get anywhere out of 3 min mark

Its really hard to find that balance between grip and speed.
The Eclipse should do it but it just doesn't seem eager enough.
I'm not great at tuning.
