Part time racer on this game. I'm finding a lot the car sounds quite whiny which can be a little annoying after a while, not sure how realistic they are in all honesty. Each to their own obviously but whats the best sounding car/s in the game?
The new LFA is pretty mean but does sound a bit brokenSome of the vintage racers are pretty great sound wise
I like the Rotary racing engine but that's properly whiny
Worst by far is the polaris RZR with the CVT gearbox but it's easily the best B class off road buggy so I put up with it

I think the 4-rotor sounds pretty realistic / unique, revs to nearly 12k I think?!Some of the vintage racers are pretty great sound wise

I’ve found that most cars sound generic/unrealistic at low revs but they sound like their real life counter parts the further you venture up the rev range. The closest car I think that sounds like the real thing would be the 360 challenge Stradale and lp670. There are cars however like the Maserati MC12 that sound nothing the actual car they’re based on.
So have been into this since 'I bought my daughter an xbox' at Christmas...
Not owned any form of console since a PS2 playing GT4 so this is a revaluation and a ridiculously easy way to loose hours!
Being not of school age, I have no xboxing mates and am not part of any team etc - are there PH forza teams that a sub-average bloke can contribute to?!
My 3 months game pass is about to end and this is well worth a purchase - cdkeys seems to be the best option I guess and will probably include the lego pack unless it's dross?!

I really enjoyed the lego pack and fortune island but lots didn't. some great roads on both new maps with a speed oval included on the lego one!Not owned any form of console since a PS2 playing GT4 so this is a revaluation and a ridiculously easy way to loose hours!

Lego one had a great set of new challenges which makes you use cars you might not have picked "Use a level B car to do this" etc
Fortune island has the best drifting road in the whole game and the best drift club challenges imo

I’m trying to get enough forzathon points to get the huracan performate but I’m not that good at doing the weekly or daily challenges. Can anyone confirm if you get forzathon pints from doing jumps and drifts? I can’t get online either it says I have insufficient privileges.
No, that's Skill Points. Only way you'll get enough points before it leaves the shop will be to go online and do the Forzathon.Obi Wan said:

As others told me, Forzathon Live is the best way to get points (which you need Xbox Live for). Every hour on the hour. It only takes about 10 minutes and is an easy 30 points. North West Tom said:

Have you played through a full season(summer, autumn, winter & spring) yet? I don't think the full game is open to you untill you have done this. It'll take 4 weeks, as the seasons only change once every week (sure we've just changed to Summer last Thursday).
I'm now only playing through the weekly Forzathons as I've completed everything in the main part of the game that's included with game pass.
Got all the cars that aren't dlc, all the houses and businesses. It's a great game and the update that extend the core game are appreciated (although last week's new express delivery business was far to easy to complete).
With regard to getting easier skill points, find a car where the skill multiplier goes to 6 or 7, buy the house that unlocks skill songs then when a skill song comes on the radio fast travel to the beach dragstrip and drift up and down the drag strip till you earn 500000 total, then repeat while the song is still on. It's worth stopping and collection skill points and starting a fresh just before the song ends as the multiplier will still double even after the song has finished.
You should be aiming for an easy 30+ skill points from each skill song.
My other piece of advice for someone starting out is focus on getting wheelspins/superwheelspins as these often reward you with much better cars, some of which can be sold at auction for good money if you are short.
