Sorry I should have made that clear. Everyone is to run with ABS On, no other assists and the car should stay as it was purchased.
This is for one week only and to put everyone on a level playing field. I appreciate that ABS on isn't the fastest way but it also means I don't need to learn to brake without ABS this week. tongue out
Cool, just redid my lap with it on.

Horrible thing to drive with it on, spits you sideways everytime you touch the brake biggrin

Well this weeks challenge is doin my head in already laugh about 20 laps deep and not a single clean lap

E: okay finally managed to do one. I don’t understand how a car can be both so slow and also get sideways at the slightest touch!

Horrible car, worst one yet, hateful thing. Fed up already, especially as I only managed a quick half hour on last week’s challenge.

I need a new controller, mine keeps disconnecting. Think it's a loose wire in the back.

It's very annoying.

I'm going to skip this week, it's too much for me to deal with at once! Will give me more time to watch the cricket at least....

I was looking forward to this in the Focus RS, I've driven the TVR now and I hate it hehe . I mainly hate trying to get slowed down without drifting off into the sides, and the tail happy wheelspin in place of accelerating, it might be fun on a different track with open space when you're not going for a time, here, trying to be fast, it's not fun. I know I probably should be gentle on the accelerator and yada yada..

As the Ford Focus RS originally suggested is B class and won't affect the A class club board with the TVRs, and Brad has already driven it, can the TVR haters go off and play the same track in the Focus (mk1 RS B649 stock)?

I'm not arsed about points, the one time I did get points was the weird week with the Peel, I want to enjoy what I'm doing.

+ 1 I’m really not enjoying the TVR, please can we change to the Focus?

Is the TVR really that unfun? I've never driven it.

I wouldn't say unfun. It's just challenging.

Annoyingly my rewind has stopped working tonight and I can't get anywhere near my no ABS time.

I'm not a fan of the TVR. The Maserati was better. Still kicks the back end out but no where near as bad.

Done my lap and I’m done with this one already.

As for no modifications..... so far I’ve seen club ghosts with bigger alloys and another with a roll cage. Lol.

Managed about 6 or 7 laps, I'll relogin and do the leaderboard later.

It's not the worst, just very throttle and bump sensitive.

Rant mode on:

Jesus titty fking christ. What a heap of over revving, oversteering, slow piece of st.

Nearly 700 cars and this car get chosen. Is this supposed to be enjoyable? fk that. 1 lap im done. It's just annoying and you spend more time thinking about your throttle than the line to take.

A lightweight, RWD car on street tyres on a twisty street circuit. What could go wrong hey.

There are all these fast flowing circuits that suit these cars well, its fun and well suited.

There are also all these nimble, grippy fast cars that suit a street circuit well.

This is supposed to be fun right?

I was enjoying it till I put the ABS on! My time will have to be discounted as I can't get close to it to replace it.

Im no scientist but the car clearly handles way, way worse with it on, it doesn't make any sense. Itd be fun if it was consistent, but its something different every corner

I hadn’t seen that as I’ve turned the ghost off, I get distracted by it. I did notice the other week with the Porsche GT3 that although we were all supposed to be using the same setup, some were lighter than others but still with the same PI.

Some standard cars are more standard than others.
