It's fun until you start trying to be consistently fast. I'm not sure if I'm going to touch it again before Sunday.

It definitely hasn’t been the best of these weekly challenges, but it proves that Cutters, Steven and Vonuber are quick whatever we’re driving.

So let’s get back to enjoying it next week, I don’t think I can stand another week like this one. Got down to 57.5 this morning, which I’m quite pleased with, but I’m not going to try again this week as I can’t do it consistently and I’m danger of breaking something.

what tyre pressures are people using? i found it doesn't kick out on the abs as much if you lower the rears right down, but keep the front a lot higher so as to be able to steer. haven't tried winding it up the other way yet.

when you can hook a lap up its ok, but the lack of consistency prevents me from trying too many times. bit miffed i made 10th, thought 14th would be testing enough.

I'm 14th at the moment hehe

I could make an executive decision to end this madness now...

Ambleside Village Circuit - 1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo C506 - NO MODS

Nice and slow, focus fully on your line with a bit of throttle control. No oversteering madness.

Run this till Sunday?

I didn’t think tuning was allowed this week?

My understanding is Mods aren't allowed, tuning is ok (although only tyre pressures as nothing else can be adjusted anyway).

My understanding was no mods or tuning, not even the tyre pressures.

In the spirit of 'no mods' I set my time on totally stock psi. Wider entry into turn 1 helped my times massively

Yes but we already know you’re on a different plane to the rest of us! You’d still be quicker running on just the rims. Or wooden cart wheels.

Same, I didn't touch anything. Not going touch it again probably, going to do the season stuff with a mate tonight and i need to finish the next chapter of lesbian time travelling over the weekend.

Can we get free copies of the lesbian book when it's finished? Asking for a friend.

Eh, it's only fanfiction. Based on life is strange:

Knock yourselves out if you want, people seem to like it at anyrate. It's more fun than doing design work for a Russian oligarch as they knock up another eyesore in London.
