Improved time, haven't gained a position, still not sub 54

furiousmadcensoredhehe

Update woohoo sub 54 and 11th on the table I can see. No points but I'm happy. Yay, a point, I counted the Subaru in the top 10, oops.

The margins here were tight, good racing folks.

Last night I found that i could pull a car length against my own ghost by reducing the downforce F&R to half and was just able to still make the turns.

Thanks again to Von for the organisation.

Congratulations, yours and CTs times were simply excellent. I switched to the CJ last night but it was a bit late, once I bagged the 52.6 I stopped, I'd seen a flagged 52.54 but never sub 52.5 so knew that a 52.4 wasn't going to happen.

I managed to get the defender to 52.8 but that was it..

Well done to the top 3 for beating the A800 Subaru time in an A720 truck hehe . It was close, top 10 within 1.5 seconds. I ended up going back to the Defender with the big wheels mods setup that worked on the CJ and Bronco, and switched from a fully modded standard engine and aero, to a middling mods and supercharger with the mid spec gearbox to tweak the final drive gearing, and no aero. It worked, just. I think I recorded my time at about 11:40 lastnight. Thanks Von for setting this up again, bring on this week's smile .

I will have a think and get something up ASAP. Relatively few meetings today so expect I can find half an hour this morning. We all like HGV racing, right?

You were 10th and not 11th due to the Subaru time, so you got your point!

Sounds grrrreat......

I didnt try the defender, I think it was the only vehicle I didnt try laugh

I could beat djjuk on every lap all the way to the last corner but he got me every time laugh

That was actually a fun one, I like not being limited to one car.

The defender was better than expected, but I preferred the engine/sound of the range rover, but I just couldn't get it below 53.0, the defender was slightly quicker.

I tried the series 3 too with the rally turbo engine, it should have been good based on the stats but it wasn't in practice..

Hah that was my goal for the week, posted my lap Wednesday, built a nice, rapid cj5 then didn’t go back on...spent all week on wreckfest...doh

Well done Sp4ce for the win and everyone who beat the Subaru, very quick laps

You were the trendsetter who got us into the 52s, it took everything i had to stay with you.

These challenges are intense driving

It's great that it could be any one of a number of us who wins at any given time.

No worries, it takes me longer to edit the gifs than do the tables hehe

Oh, apart from finding speed12's sneaky time every week.

Also this. Apart from season 2 where I scored 2 points in 16 rounds, I've had a few weeks in the first and third seasons where it clicked (I'm not sure what got me the points in season 1 now, it's all blurred together a bit. This season it was the uphill dirt track with the Manx buggy and I managed to get third, but I am in the bottom half of the points or around 10th/11th more often than I used to be, and there are more people doing this now than in season 1. I have learned a few things about Forza car setup, and I think I've got a bit better at driving in the game. There are still weeks where I'm useless though hehe .
