When you guys start a new season have you got space for an extra person? You'll have to explain what and how you are competing as I have no clue!
Yes of course.
We post on this thread every Monday the track and car.
Once you've joined the pstn club then go to the rivals, look for the relevant circuit, choose the pi rating and car and you're away.
Awesome, thanks

You'll be just in time to start next week where I believe I'll be deciding on the challenge rules wink

Failing HDD maybe?
I’ve managed to sync my save and the file size looks like it’s correct but it just won’t open.

The console is brand new 3 months ago, bought from Microsoft. Other FH4 game saves open fine, so I’ve dismissed the console and game being iffy. Network is ok aswell, wired and wireless.

Anyone fancy sharing a 959 or 288 tune? Need to confirm it’s just that I’m rubbish.

Shared my 959 tune, although with the limited upgrades the only things I've actually changed are tyre pressures, rear wing, and diff

I'm finding that its a lot of track knowledge, I'm not going back on today so I'm ripe fof the taking laugh

You should flat out from the first bridge to the right hander leading to town, this can all be done without lifting the throttle at all.
Once in town it gets tough, practice makes perfect, good luck.

Yeah I just took a second out of my time, with a strong run through the village. Flat from the first bridge to the right hander into the village section is easy flat in the Esprit, a little tricker in the 959.

My 959 needs a slight lift for the bends going from the bridge to the right turn, otherwise I drift out into the stone walls and fences on the left. I've tried a GTO and a 355, but I prefer the 959 to drive. I might give the modern Esprit a go, I tried the Bond Esprit along with the M1 and a few others at the beginning before the 959 turned up because I thought lower class cars = more upgrades = more better.

Lastnight I had Von half a second in front of me, I could stay with him for most of the track but always hit something, usually in the town, or the turn coming out of the town onto the road to the finish, so I didn't improve any on the leaderboard. The launch on Von's Ferrari is great, it gains a few car lengths on me at the start whatever I do.

Aye, I think it's as much about knowledge as anything, I'm not sure if I'll get to go on again before the deadline. Not tried the 959 yet so might give it a go.

Looks like it's fairly open this week, you need a car with reasonable speed but if you have poor grip/handling then you'll lose alot through the town.

And just as I go on to try another run tonight the Horizon server is down. No Super7, Rivals, Club or Marketplace.

Thanks Von, a strange but enjoyable week this week, strange because I know that I and I suspect quite a few others didn't really have the time/put that much time into it, or at least not as much as usual. But enjoyable because it was pretty close and a variety of cars on the board. The 355 was the obvious one for me though, just so much more stable than the others.

I will try and get on this morning to set up this week's challenge but if I don't get on before lunch then I won't be on until tomorrow morning as I'm out. Have tried this morning but the server is down so no rivals etc.

I found the 959 needs the manual + clutch combo to get it to pull away from the line up to the first corner fast enough and I'm not very good with it. Part of it is I think the downchanges have less impact on engine note which means I spend a bit more time coasting I think. Anyway, pleased with top 10.

Right, as I'm off work today but heading out in a bit I thought I'd get onto this one fairly early. I couldn't get the club leader board to show up no matter what I try so if we've already set a time on this track and class let me know but I think it was okay when I checked the other day.

This is a tuning special this week, with hopefully an array of car types on the board.

Track: Astmoor Rally Trial
Class: S840 (Manual) S843 (Auto).
Car restrictions: Any car that is D class as stock (except for the 1973 civic as I know it has tended to be the best in the past).
Tuning/mods: Any

It's a long circuit but should be looking at sub 2:50, I had a quick play in an S820 and managed a 2:53 without really trying.
