I don’t have an f1. Some poor car choices in there as well imo. Not bothered mind, only got one proper sesh in on this weeks track and doubt I’ll have much time going forward frown bring back working from home!
Well still open to suggestions; and you've got 9 weeks to save up for an F1 smile

Revised suggestions:

Round Car Track Class Restrictions
7 Maserati Gran Turismo S (2010) Prince Street Gardens (Road) A No Mods
8 Any Ford Greendale Foothills Scramble (Dirt) S1 No Restrictions
9 Any Ferrari Waterhead Sprint (Road) S1 No Restrictions
10 Vauxhall Lotus Carlton (1990) Hollyrood Park Circuit (Road) B No Mods
11 Any Subura / Lancer Lakehurst Woodland Scramble (Dirt) A No Restrictions
12 Any Land Rover Riverbank Cross Country Circuit (CC) A No Restrictions
13 Charger SRT Hellcat (2015) Horizon Festival Sprint (Road) A No Mods
14 Any Ambleside Village Circuit (Road) D No Restrictions
15 Any 1970s Lakehurst Forest Trail (Dirt) A No Restrictions
16 Mclaren F1 Broadway Village (Road) S1 No Mods

Swapped out the Honda for a Dodge (B to A) and also added in the Mclaren. Also added a class D to Ambleside, swapping it with the festival sprint.

If anyone needs some cash for some purchases let me know, I can buy cars off you at the AH for vastly inflated prices.

What cars would you have?

I picked the McLaren F1 as i thought it was be good to have something fast and a bit of a handful but fun on a fast flowing circuit whereas personally I find anything sub A class a bit mind numbing. But i do understand why people like them.

I'm a bit over the whole wallowy overpowered messes for the challenges and wouldnt mind more darty handlers such as the 4C, Aston Vantage GT etc.

I’d swap out the hellcat for a start, can see that being too much a pain in the arse to be fun on a week long challenge. Also too many A class cars. Throw a couple B / C cars in. Hot hatches like Clio’s or something.

I agree with brad93. It's pretty light on the lower class content, though I understand they're not everyone's cup of tea. I personally like the challenge of keeping the momentum going in a 2CV or Imp! Does need more D/C/B class representation there, IMO.

That's only me, though; I'll go with whatever. If I don't like one of them, or find it a bit tedious (the Dodge is screaming "fk this!" (after about 10 mins)) then I can just give it a miss. Nobody has a gun to my head laugh

I'm not mad on the Maserati to be honest. Boring as fk, but I'll go with it if everyone else wants it smile

FINALLY cracked a 2:08 out, knew I could do it but haven’t been able to piece middle section together / get momentum on the uphill right hander that leads to the last flat out section. Will be pleased if I stay 3rd this week smile

Well done, I had to give up this week otherwise the controller was going to get broken! Just couldn’t get my setup right and sometimes it’s better to call it a day...

Final table:

Switched to the NSX far to late in the day. Oh well, serves me right for stubbornly sticking with the GT-R.

Congratulations Cutters. Again.

Next event:

Prince Street Gardens (Road), Maserati Gran Turismo S (2010), A class with no Mods

Sneaky Russians. I was content with 3rd frown

Also you used the wrong NSX Von.

Just to confirm to make sure your Maserati is stock, it's A727.

Congrats to Cutters once again. thumbup Good challenge this week with a good range of cars. The Supra is actually capable of a much faster time, I just don't have the skill to do it. Changing to RWD and big bhp is how the really fast times are achieved on the global leaderboard. Tuning to 1500-1600bhp, I can be ahead of Cutters ghost by the first right hander you have to brake for and I can stay ahead until the slow right hander, then I cannot get the power down. Repeat for the very slow corner before the hill and I'm miles behind. No idea how the people at the top of the leaderboard can get the power down on the slow corners.

I'll be honest, I'm not happy with this. The winner should keep the right to choose the next event. It's been working well so far with a good mix of different races and cars. Having a reward is part of the appeal. I'm sure many people are noticing an improvement in their driving, I know I am. I think we will start to see people challenging Cutters as we improve, especially with fixed tunes or standard cars.

What's happened now is you've decided what everyone will play for the next 10 weeks. Doesn't seem very fair to me. 28 people had a go at last week's challenge, I'd rather a random allocation to give someone else a chance to make an event, that's if we're going to deviate from the winner choosing.

I appreciate this was done with good intentions and to give a bit of variety going forward, so please don't take it the wrong way.

Agree, it's too heavy at approx 1.9t. Let's see what Cutters is thinking of for this week's challenge.

Steven should nominate as he came 2nd otherwise cutters will be picking every week.

The Maserati isn't that bad to be honest and can be quite challenging on that track to put down a perfect lap. It's similar to our very first round.

Id be more than happy with this, i think i said a couple of weeks ago a random number finisher should get to choose track and car, i think that's fair all round, everyone should get a go that way.

The Maser' is crap tho biggrin

How about 14th place this time gets to pick, as a random place? I think we've been averaging around 28 - 30 people a session, so it's roughly midway.
