I doubt it makes much of a difference after your first couple of attempts, like you say, they end up being more of a guide. The rules are any assists too... like the week I had to use traction control made me feel the same way!

Probably the most annoying 2 hours ever on this feckin game.
This has to be the most frustrating when it comes to traffic and bullst like wheelie bins and flower pots, not forgetting how even looking at a pavement can throw you off line.
.006 off a 2.18 and I just can't do it.
Thats where it'll have to stay, hopefully its enough as I'm away tomorrow to Anglesey.

Lol, I'm done too. I'm away as of tomorrow afternoon. I've enjoyed thrashing the RX7, whilst I've got close to Cutters with a few rewinds I'm not going to be able to improve from where I am with a clean lap, rwd is just that little bit more unpredictable.

It's a great time from cutters, very smooth and looks near enough perfect in terms of lines and proximity to walls.

I keep forgetting I can rewind, there were a couple of instances where I was way ahead but collected some wheelie bins on the last left hander where I could have benefitted from a quick rewind

I used the eclipse with V8, 4wd, full aero, race suspension and more.

I'm done, I beat Speed after about an hour... and then it took me another 1 and a half hours to beat Cutters. Hitting the beers now.

I've had another go and I can't get into this at all, I'm not sure why. I've gone a little bit faster but not much, and I can't see how to make anything better. I might just pack this one in and come back on Monday.

My tune for the Evo was tyres, suspension, weight loss, aero and then a little bit of power.

Cutters definitely has quite a bit more power at the cost of handling but I'm not sure where.

I've shared my tune and Cutters has shared his, you could try those and see how you get one with them?

It's not happening, I think I just got a little bit closer to the car ahead, but I'm not going to make any more places. I've tried power, I've tried chassis and grip, I'm just nowhere. See you on Monday, ahm oot.
