Small bump.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a racing chair that would double up as an office chair?

I've got a long desk that I intend to use half for a work computer space and the other half another monitor for the Xbox and Logitech G920 pedals/wheel/shifter stand. I'd like wheels so I can seamlessly slide across from one half to the other but with wheels I'd have an issue when pressing the brake I'd be pushed backwards. Unless the chair wheels had brakes?

Any recommendations are welcome!

Incidentally, this was a timely bump, I've just sold my G27 and Omega GT stand as I just wasn't using it, and as I've downsized house, it was taking up valuable space. Shame, but since getting a car again, it doesn't get a look in. If I could do it again, it would be nice to have a dedicated room for one with a proper seat and triple screen setup. If it had some hydraulics, even better biggrin But I could buy a nice car for that, and I don't have the room. Was fun while it lasted.

I have the same setup! I have a GT Omega Sport, not the most elegant but I just throw a jumper behind it when using the wheel and pedals!

No pictures as it hasn't arrived yet, but after receiving the Logitech G Pro pedals for Christmas (odd I know, but I'd said not to get me the wheel as it was too much hehe) I've since ordered the wheel (my first direct drive wheel, so excited) and decided to go for a Playseat Trophy to mount it all on.

I'll be retiring my long serving G25 (bought for GT5:Prologue in March 2008 and abused ever since!) and the slightly cumbersome VisionRacer VR3 (itself a veteran of ~11 years!)

Have mostly just played Assetto Corsa on PC really for years (with an Oculus Rift) but have been enjoying GT7 with a controller enough that I'm taking the plunge again. Fortunately we have a 'play room' where gf and I each have a PS5 and TV so although it'll be "in the way" a bit, it won't cause any problems.

Hopeful that Logitech announce a (decent) H pattern shifter because I love using my TH8A and currently no way it'll work with GT7.

My simple console setup.

PS5
50" LG tv
Playseat Evolution
GT Omega Art monitor stand
T300 RS with 599x rim and old F1 rim
Tpa3 pedals
Old Nexus 7 tablet for telemetry - mainly F1 2022 using Sim Dashboard

Edit: quite an old pic possibly with ps4 not the current ps5. I've since moved the monitor stand forward so it's over the pedals more and closer to me. Been looking at upgrading to TLCM pedals and a Playseat Trophy rig but I can't really justify the cost for the amount of time I use it. Same reason is why I don't upgrade to a PC.

Seen a few second hand tlcm selling around £120 Mark. But I can recommend upgrading them. U had t3pa but upgraded to heusinkveld sprints. The feel of having a loadcell brake makes a massive difference and more consistent.

I've had my Logitech Pro a month now and really like it, mainly use it for ACC on PC and it's excellent, I had a g29, pro is a nice upgrade.
