Anyone else feel like nakatomi plaza has ruined the game?
Might not be a particular issue with BR but I like to jump into plunder and level up guns/go on a killing spree and I'm finding lots of areas of the map are completely dead, but if you go anywhere near the tower it's mental and you get killed to death immediately.

It's the new Superstore. I don't mind it though.
Has SBMM changed again? Since the update we're up against very tough teams with 3, 4, 5+ kd players who just run through the team like train. Bear in mind I play with some guys that are 0.3, 0.5, 0.8 k/d players with the games I have in mind so they should be the easiest of easy lobbies. I get that there's always good players in a lobby but I've been struggling to get more than 1 kill pg which can get frustrating.

I've been playing warzone since it came out, im looking for some new squad mates, duo, trio or quads that are like minded.
I normally play from 8:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights and get the odd extra few games in when I can .
I don't take it too seriously and prefer to have a laugh but like to play tactically too..
Im on Xbox and my gamer tag is wuddie either message me here or on Xbox live.

I started playing warzone for the first time last night and I don't have a clue what I'm doing. Basically went for a long country walk on my own, collecting lots of guns, armour, ammo and money. Hardly saw anyone and then eventually got killed. Total mystery when you want to jump out of the helicopter or how to really coordinate with the people you've been randomly assigned to a team with.
Question, when it says you're being hunted, does that mean others can see you on the map? I wasn't sure what to do with this piece of information.

Its hard to play without a squad or at least people on headset comms.Question, when it says you're being hunted, does that mean others can see you on the map? I wasn't sure what to do with this piece of information.
Hunted means someone has picked up a bounty contract on you. These are marked on the map along with other contracts. It puts a yellow circle on the minimap for the team thar picked it up, this shows the general area that you are in. Surviving the contract will give you money, if you die they get money. You may have noticed that on the left of the screen it tells you you are hunted and underneath there is a colour code... yellow means the team hunting you are far away, orange are quite close, red means they are right next to you.
Doing contracts is useful for quickly getting money and also gives you XP if levelling up weapons etc. They also give good loot sometimes. Bounties can also be used tactically to have an idea where a team is.
Doing multiple contracts increases the reward for doing them. This can be useful late game as if you are trying to bring your whole team back doing just one contract can be enough.
There are different contract types
Bounty you now know about
Most Wanted - kind of a reverse bounty. It puts a mark on the map that tells everyone else where you are. If you survive then you get money - but more importantly, and usually why people use them, it brings back every member of a team that has died.
Supply Run - marks a buy station that is quite far from where you pick up the contract, gives buy station discounts and a free buy back of a dead team mate
Scavenger - creates special lootboxes near to you that only your team can collect. Usually have decent loot, last one always has a satchel (instantly gives you 8 armour plates) and gives the whole team cash on the last one. These are very popular early game as it is a quick way to a loadout.
Recon - puts a point nearby that you have to stand in for a certain amount of time. More squad mates stood on it the quicker the time goes. Fires a yellow flare into the sky alerting other teams you are doing it. If you complete it drops loot and shows you where the circle will goes next. These can be stacked so if you keep doing recons you will know the final circle location.
For coordinating with the team you can ping the map and also you can indicate if you need ammo/money etc. You can also ping enemies that you see. It will put a red dot on them for a few seconds.
So I played again last night and initially made a very good job of annoying my team mates by being a complete noob and not knowing how to drop money so they could buy a loadout drop. This led to a lot of scouse shouting before I figured out what to do.
I feel like I'm slowly getting to grips with what you're supposed to do but I feel that having worked all of last year I'm at a massive disadvantage against all the people who seem to have spent the last twelve months on furlough playing this!

i've played for nearly 2 years and still get called noob. I've found warzone attracts the mentalists who get very angry, even though they get shot, it is your fault. It is also near impossible to play now, so not a noob issue.
Best game is rebirth of rebirth island, massively less camping, faster gameplay and not as serious as WZ. QZ attracts the camping sniper crews, and yes people playing it for long time are at a massive advantage.

Just remember that every game - almost everyone you face will have been on the game for almost every day for 2 years - it's a bloody nightmare the general skill level is so high.

I would try plunder just to get to grips with the map. It is massive and you are at a huge disadvantage if you don't have some feel of what strategy your team is going for when they pick a drop location, or maybe a type of contract to drop on to.I feel like I'm slowly getting to grips with what you're supposed to do but I feel that having worked all of last year I'm at a massive disadvantage against all the people who seem to have spent the last twelve months on furlough playing this!
Finding someone you know who plays and can play a few games with you would really speed things up, particularly if they're prepared to run contracts or something on plunder to get you some weapon levelled up.

I will squad up with you some time - are you on PC? I seem to have trouble communication to people ingame so tend to use discord while playing on PC. I'm away for a few days after ttonight but DM me on here and I'll send game name etc.I feel like I'm slowly getting to grips with what you're supposed to do but I feel that having worked all of last year I'm at a massive disadvantage against all the people who seem to have spent the last twelve months on furlough playing this!
