Been using the bullfrog, really good weapon, and 85 ammo really puts it in squad kill mode.

I use it all day every day for work. I can connect to PC for work purposes, and to Bluetooth to stream music/podcasts from my phone without faffing about. Speech seems good people don't complain. Battery seems good, they are comfortable enough but not the best because...

... if you have something like Sony WH1000-XM3 or Bose QC35 to compare to, the audio quality is dogst, and the build is more bulky and heavy.

For that reason I do t think they are the best value... but then the connectivity and the mic are much better than my WH1000-XM3.

I’ve had enough of cod now, I’ve got a 1.67 KD in warzone and I tried to play solo games today for the first time in a while and every lobby was full of people with Roze skins and TTV in their clan tags. Skill based match making rather than connection based match making is absolutely horrendous.

I shouldn’t have to drink about 7 coffees and take 20 pro plus just to have a half decent game ffs

I have the arctis pro wireless looks like its basically the same thing as the arctis 9?

It has a base station that is great, small and looks good - sound quality is decent but not mind blowing

As you say it's great for work from home, when working i want it on as low level music decent quality (similar to air pods) where something too high fidelity would be distracting

The base station sends the signal really well so i can literally wander all over the house with no loss of signal and it NEVER drops randomly - think it uses some other medium than bluetooth but its mega much more reliable and can go miles away from the base

It has a spare battery in the base station so no charging just swap them out an switch, dead one goes into the base to charge (which is one of the major plusses for me as my bose or whatever are always flat!)

For gaming it's great - i use it mainly for warzone, and use DTS X for headphones which defo helps pick out footsteps dirtectionally

So yeah really like it and have similar thoughts for you - it does a job really well and it's what i'm using the most by far

Also have the bose QC35 which edge it in sound quality - and the bose are the comfiest headphones ever

I did buy a decent dac/headphone amp and audeze high end headphones over lockdown but sold them on it's too much faff - realised i value wireless and ease of use over out and out sound quaility as its diminishing returns after a point

I use the steelseries for work music and general browsing as its just effortless, bose qc35 if im out and about / running etc and then bowers wilkins P7 wireless if i want to listen to something in decent quality

Interestingly i was wanting a pair of Sony WH1000-XM3 (or XM4) - do you have them - any thoughts? Just don't really think i have a use for them when i have the above and need to stop buying headphones lol

Yeah i've moved house and not played in about 2 weeks - jesus it's hard if your not putting hours in daily haha - lockdown means you're facing basically 150 full time gamers

I like the bullfrog too, only issue I'm finding is for an SMG it's not quite potent enough, so I'm still getting destroyed at close range by people with FFARs, mac10s and shotguns, but it does seem to have a but of a mid ISH range sweet spot

I am finding the servers I’m popped in impossible. So struggle to get going. Diamond and platinum consistently. I only ever seem to have a decent game when it’s a bit lower. I got win number 30 yesterday.

Lol there is a whole thread on headphones somewhere!!

I have the WH1000-XM3 which I use for airports and long flights. The sound cancelling is ace. I used to use noise-cancelling to sleep. Then realised if you pop earplugs in, then the headphones on over the top and it was practically silent. Also airports are really noisey, but wearing them around the terminal just makes everything a lot more peaceful and less tiring. I would say they are one of the best purchases i have made. Can't remember why i chose them over the bose QC35... i think i may have tried them both and found the sony more comforatble.

But after wearing Arctis 9 day in, day out then randomly putting the XM3s on to watch a film on iPad in bed when the Mrs had fallen asleep early i realised they are much more comfortable, and the sound quality is epic.

It’s the arctis pro I’m looking at, I will only be using them for the ps5 although I do need something for running as well

As for warzone it seems rly sweaty lately wherever I land is full of players!

And my spr has seemed off I’ve shot a few times on ppl and just not hit them despite them not moving and me been locked on
