New update = no hackers = No chance

So did some BR trios and everygame either met old school hackers the the final 3 games we found that they had hacked everyone and we had loadout guns from the off...... Not fun.

Honestly think it's the end of the game at this rate. Just don't get the mentality

I stopped playing about 2 months ago before what seems like a massive increase of hackers

Must be a shambles now, no chance i'd play.

Even the streamers seem to be getting sick of it - i'm sure most would have left it if there was another option

CoD seems to have got to an odd place where my guess is the popularity of the main game modes (in terms of numbers playing / watching / streaming) goes:

1. Warzone
2. Standard multiplayer
3. Zombies

But in terms of the frustrations of playing the game, I would put it the other way round:

1. Zombies - It's PvE so the zombies can't cheat! Sure it's annoying when you're fully kitted out with wonder weapons and an unseen zombie slaps you in the back of the head, but that's ultimately your own fault...
2. Standard multiplayer - Played it a lot and never seen anyone hacking. Peoples play style can be immensely annoying i.e. camping. But as annoying as that is, it isn't cheating.
3. Warzone - hacker central, which is odd for a current CoD game. Normally it's when the series moves on to the next title and the developer support for the game drops off that the hackers move in.

I've never played much Warzone, but have recently started playing more Zombies. For those who haven't tried it, I would definitely recommend giving Outbreak a go. It's very different to how I remember Zombies, being played on an open world map rather than trapped in a small building. Given the lack of cheating / camping, it feels like a refreshing break from the other modes smile

I see quite a bit of cheating on regular multiplayer. It’s not anywhere near as bad as WZ though.

Did the Easter egg on the new zombies map yesterday and unlocked the new SMG today.

I enjoy the Outbreak mode too, but very very frustrating to get disconnected every few rounds unless you play solo.

CW mp has crashed since day 1 for me, so again find it incredibly frustrating on series X.

So annoying getting kicked on outbreak after spending an hour looting and doing the simple challenges. The difficultly progression could be more balanced to make the game a bit more dynamic.

Yep, what is with that? I'm either on Outbreak or MP, but the stability of Outbreak is a joke. If you get a decent couple of players, it's great but I find that from lvl9 or 10 the balance is way off. Especially if you don't have wonder weapons. They either needed to drop more of them, or perhaps add a lvl 4 or 5 pack a punch.

I believe that if the host simply switches his console off/rage quits instead of leaving via the menu that the migrating hosts routine doesn’t run and kicks everybody out, without their XP which is really really fking annoying.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been dropped mid-game, usually past rounds 10, but often at early rounds too.

As for mp, sometimes the game crashing would lock up and freeze/restart the console, then it’s gone a month or so with no crashing and then it’ll suddenly start freezing/crashing again for no reason. I’ve seen plenty of PS5/4 and PC players all having the same issue, but others who have never had a single crash. mad

I’ve had more crashing on my Series X than all my previous consoles put together.

It's not just the host quitting. I mostly play with friends and we have all been kicked while the host carries on. It's just not a stable system. They should host on servers like MP and WZ but they don't, maybe they didn't think Zombies would be as popular as it is.

It's bloody annoying, especially as you are grinding out guns. I think I'm decently ranked on Outbreak, 30k something, but have no idea how popular is it Versus MP (I'm in the millions). Mind you it's Vs bots, so not a real reflection.

i spotted a cheater on multiplayer he aimed and shot at me whilst i was behind a wall, pretty impossible to do normally. he then killed me as he rounded the corner. I have to admit i've never played a console game so geared up to pc users and cheaters. it is a shame battlefield isn't out yet.

Had my best night in ages last night. Trios. 6 games all in the top 15. 4 in top 5. One win. Average for the night 4k/d and 6 kills per game.

Here's a video of the first two matches on highlights. 4th and the win which I solo clutched against 3 or 4 teams at the end. (Although I think I only had to get rid of 5 players)

Played a few games rebirth with a mate of mine yesterday and ended up winning in a trio with a random, 5 kills each. Was fun.

I reported my first player today, was ridiculous. He ran out of the door on a building 3 away we were watching, so a fair distance and with a sniper rifle, two shots, both me and my team mate were dead and he previously had no idea we were there!

I think on average I get a hacker in my lobby one in three games.
Played five yesterday two hackers. Played two today one hacker.

What’s the point. Don’t understand why they don’t deal with it.

I play on PS4 and I just disable Crossplay, that gets rid of the hackers in most games.

I can image that the game isn't fun anymore on a PC due to all the hackers.

Really?
Didn't know their servers are still affected by the hackers, or is that because you always are in the same rooms with PC players?
