It's the cost of them that gets me. I've bought similar skin / car packs in Rocket League as they're only £2-3 so hardly braking the bank. But the MW packs are in some instances the best part of £20, which in my opinion at least is just ridiculous and makes it pretty easy to resist. I'd be interested to know how many packs they sell. Still, overall it's the best way of monetising CoD we've seen in years so can't complain...

The packs are there for those that are struggling to grind it out, or simply do not want to.

I prefer grinding out the challenges. I am not in it for the KD ratios.

After a fourth final loss on the 2vs2 Gunfight Tournament mode, me and a mate finally managed to win one after 6-5 grand finale. Unfortunately, after the match it took us back to the tournament screen saying Waiting For Opponents. It just sits there,eventually we had to back out and therefor lost any progress. This actually happened the first time we got to the final and lost too.

Has it happened to anyone else?

I bought the battle pass cos I wanted a new operator. Rest of it is just cosmetic crap. Though Ghost does look cool

Been playing rust a lot. Pistols and shotguns only. Took a while and a lot of deaths but I now have gold .50cs, M1911 and X16. Shotguns almost complete as well so my journey to Damscus camo is well underway.

Was getting right in to this before I broke my collarbone but now I can't play as I am in a sling. I am itching to get on to give Rust a go as I used to love that map. I have been absolutely cleaning up on Shipment and definitely prefer the small run 'n gun maps.

Finally got my classes dialled in as well, pretty much using the Bizon, MP7 and Kilo in various get ups. Most of these are iron sights so I can use other attachments for less recoil and quicker aim down speed.

What are you guys using?

The one thing setup wise I am not happy with yet is my aim sensitivity, been tweaking it but not 100% comfy yet.

Although I've got some great head shots from it as I now aim a little lower near some corners

I'm more concerned with how overpowered some guns seem to be. I was on last night and got a hit marker on someone with a my carbine (I'm always getting killed by the carbine so thought I'd join them). He just turned around from a huge distance and killed me. I watched the replay and he was using a bloody pistol! A tiny handgun.

Don't get me started on that stupid crossbow either.

Kilo is my go to gun with the occasional usage of the Oden. However, that new AR for this season is beast like (can't remember the name). Not really used it much but it is well impressive, even despite not having any attachments for it yet.

Predominantly using ARs but will occasionally veer off to a Kal, MP7, Aug or HDR/AX-50.

Sensitivity is about 16 Hor/Ver for me. Started off at 12 but it was just too slow. More of a personal preference with that though.

16???? Wow, I am running 8 at the moment, maybe I should try going a bit higher.
For small maps try the Bizon smg, use iron sights, decent stock,grip barrell, muzzel and grip tape. It's a killing machine, seems more powerful than the MP7

I've used the Kilo 141 the most and unlocked the gold camo with it. So i tend not to use it much anymore as there's nothing left to work towards. Behind that, the RAM is my second most used and i'd probably say i prefer it. I use the Deagle almost exclusively as a secondary for the satisfaction of one shot headshots when you sneak up on a camper.

Other honourable mentions go to the AUG / MP7 / MP5, which are the subs i tend to use. I've also used the Mk II carbine a lot. That's one of those love / hate guns for me. If i'm having a bad game i'm either forever getting hit markers or missing my first shot and being insta-killed before i can fire a second. But i've also had a couple of amazing games with it where you're just one-shotting everyone before they can get a bullet away, all your panic shots from the hip are one hit kills and so on and in those games it's just a complete dream. I've seen quite a few people using the Kar 98, which i'd asumed would be slower handling than the Mk II but fewer hit markers to compensate. I certainly found it slower handling, but it didn't seem any more powerful to me and i didn't get on with it at all.

Will give that Bizon a go for sure. The new AR I was trying to remember is the Grau 5.56, I think it's the most powerful of the bunch and very accurate.

Jumped on for an hour last night and won another 2vs2 final on the first attempt. It finally registered the win and gave me the XP, think it was 10k XP. Happy days

Won another Tournament yesterday, think that's 3 now. Definitely my favourite game mode. Half watched a video on You Tube yesterday and noticed the map was Scrapyard but an extended version. Is that on Ground War mode or something? Think I've only had 2 games on GW.

So got platnium on shot guns and pistols. A few thoughts.

R9-0 Shotgun is a complete beast on Shipment. Just spam the hell out of the trigger and kills just rack up. Got it gold in like a day. Use shrapnel for the ultimate in troll class set ups. Origin shotgun is a good alternative.

725, with buck shot is like a manouverable sniper rile.
630 is fun to use.

The .357 magnum is a 2 shot kill or 1 shot to the head. I've killed people with that from stupid ranges.

M19 hand gun is pants. Just don't like it at all but it has a decent fire rate.

X16 and M1911 good all round hand guns.

Best of the bunch is the Deagle. Get the Akimbo pack and it just ruins peoples day.


As for SMGs, AUG is my go to. Did I mention I have platinum on those as well

That's impressive! As mentioned in an earlier post, I've got gold on the Kilo but that's it. Normally in a CoD i'll get gold for all the assault rifles and snipers without too much effort. But once i'd got gold on the Kilo I resigned myself to not getting it on any other guns as, for me at least, it was a slog. I like the fact that rather than just headshots, you have to complete a broader variety of challenges to unlock it. It was the hipfire / mounted / crouch kills that took time for me. As a benefit though, i didn't really use the mounting mechanic at all until i started specifically using it for camos. As a result i use it more frequently now and if used correctly it's pretty effective I also think the longer grind for gold is rewarded with the best looking gold camo I can remember in CoD.


Despite telling myself i would get caught up in another long-winded obsessive camo grind, I'm now close enough to gold on the RAM to make it worth going for

Got gold on the Kilo, M4 and M13. Found shoot house good for the mounted kills. Just slide to a corner, mount and fire. Bound to hit something.


Fav Ar though is the AK47. Made a pimp version in the gunsmith and pair this with my gold RPG, Gas and C4. Looks cool when you use the Middle eastern looking operator. The ulitmate ISIS man about town set up
