Snowrunner released today

I gave up on Amur last night, what a stupid map - everything is designed to slow you down from hidden roots, tree stumps to random bits of ice/rock, that was just clearing all but 2 of the bridges and a couple of the side quests. I got the OP Zikr so that's all I wanted and now I'm back in Wisconsin then I'll probably put the game down.
I've started playing this game recently. I'm still working on the Michigan maps, but I've bought the season passes. The Russian 8 wheel Bandit truck included with the year 1 pass is amazing when compared to the basic trucks you get at the start of the game. I try to avoid using it too much as it makes everything easy, at least until you get over confident and it falls over again.
I'm mostly using the starter trucks. I bought the Pacific P12 and the International Paystar, but other than that I mostly use the Chevy pick up and the White Star apart from those.
I really want to use the International Scout more as I'm a fan of it in real life but it's not very useful.

Ah cool, I'll maybe wait until I've played through a bit more of what's there. I always get crazy fomo about dlc vehicles in driving games though
I went with the vanilla game and completed about 2/3rds of the Michigan map before deciding I was all in and bought the season pass. It's well worth if for the amount of content you get, as long as you're cool with how much of a time sink the game is, especially if playing solo. They've released the season 2 pass now - not sure if that includes the Season 1 pass also but they've committed to releasing another 4 maps over the next 12 months, and there is always new vehicles that come with each map. I picked this up on game pass last week.
Honestly first hour i thought it was terrible but now i am pretty hooked. Now that i figured out you can travel to Russia to buy the vehicles there and bring them back to use in the US maps!
Apart from going to Alaska to get the Hummer I haven't done much outside the first black river map, i cleared down most of the contracts and tasks and moved through the tunnel to the next area.
Also mods are hilarious, knocking around in a copy of the US Army oshkosh MRAP. It's like a big scout or a small off road truck.

Been blasting this again the past week, I'd started the Taymyr map ages ago but only recently started making progress on it. Probably my favourite map so far though, absolutely loving it.
Still using the YAR 87 as my scout, which although being a little bit roll-happy, has been utterly brilliant so far.
My main truck had been the Azov 64131 for ages which has been superb despite being a bit slow (and having a horrendous turning circle)..
Recently purchased the Azov 5319 as I fancied a change, completely upgraded it does feel like an upgrade over the 64131, only being let down by the hilarious fuel consumption (20 litres / minute at times!), but I have a mod that adds around 20% more fuel capacity to all vehicles which balances it out a bit..

Picked this up in the Xbox store sale a couple of weeks ago - have only got as far as the second watchtower on the Michigan map so far, have taken the first contract to repair the bridge but no real clue what I'm doing
I haven't managed to wreck the first pick-up nor get irretrievably stuck anywhere yet...

Got this last night on the game pass after being disappointed with GTA:SA Definitive...
Wow! What a game. I decided to start on "hard mode" as I thought I like a bit of realism/simulation. What a mistake that was. My first hour more time was spent googling than anything else. Saw sense and started a fresh normal campaign.
I can't remember the last time I played a game until the early hours on a school night. Recommend everyone picks this up and has a go. Especially if you have the game pass...

Season 6 just released yesterday so that's my next few weeks sorted; love nothing more than listening to a few podcasts whilst I grind away at the maps. The new Maine map looks nice but they're making it hard to start with as your garage doesn't have repair, truck shop or customise abilities until you've done several tasks. Luckily I've got a full roster of trucks and attachments so should be fun working out which one to use for what task.
