I only posted on here - as already stated - a posted mentioned the huge fan inside the PS5 to keep it cool. It’s relevant as it was news yesterday.

Microsoft need to close down those fake news YouTube Tubes then- they have given them out as samples to then have one blast out about burnt hands and as you can see people grab the headline impacting sales

My PC gets a bit warm, and that's with a water cooled cpu, two large case fans and two fans on the gpu, all in a big case with plenty of air circulation.

Well main news in the press so you must be calling their reader base idiots - or a slow news day/anything but virus news day.

What are you trying to say? That Metro story among others was called out as balls in the video you posted.

Sensationalist journalism is not exclusive to games consoles, and isn't new.

Was the RRoD solder issue ever actually resolved? From what I recall that was a result of lead free solder which is still a problem that can occur today?

This is true but plenty of parents who might be buying for their kids likely don’t search YouTube for the counter story and trust the lefty London Metro editorial.

Otherwise you do not believe anything ever printed - in which case nor the amazing good story’s of consoles performance.

Never happened in the Xbox 360 Slim for me, I had about 5 RRoDs on the original Xbox 360. In the end though I got a single red dot from a hard drive failure, binned the Xbox Slim after that as it was only used as a Netflix player round my exs. I think the RRoD still occurred but at a much lower rate.

I wonder how they know the exact measurements of the fixing points?

If it's anything like phone designs, the accessory makers will get the dimensions and/or dummy units under NDA before any public release.iphone 12 got leaked though case designs in August, those company's would have had those designs s while before August to make their cases. https://hypebae.com/2020/8/apple-iphone-12-case-du...

Digital Foundry went to MS Towers in March to see the final Xbox Series X designs, and were NDA until the designs were shown to the public.

Website now disappeared. Scam ?

I did see on reddit that someone asked if they would have the PS5 logo on them and the answer was no, which suggests they hadn't paid Sony the relevant licensing fee, to my mind that would suggest they probably didn't have early access as suggested above.

When the thing is actually released I can see the parts being available pretty quickly - 3d scan the stock ones and they could pretty much go straight to a production line.

Handon review of the PS5 controller with the default game Astro's playroom.

Sounds either a leap forward or very gimmicky - speaker in the controller, you can blow on it (WTF), button resistance changes depending on what you are doing. Time will tell, but interesting nonetheless.

Blowing on it demonstrates the in built microphone, I imagine... Button resistance sounds like a gimmick, but maybe it’ll work. Will be interesting to see how many games take advantage of it.

If they and the developers get it right I can see the DualSense being the thing that wins the first round of this generation. I’m excited to give one a go.

I’m excited for the new PS5 however the lack of decent games at launch is the sole reason I’ve not preordered one yet.

Probably pick one up in the new year

I’m not overly confident about the 19th at the minute, I can see none essential shops closed, which means my game order is toast, even the online warehouse side of the Business

Should have gone Amazon!

I've gone John Lewis online for that very reason.

My mate went Game. I said they'll either be shut due to Covid or gone under!

Tbh we were playing quads Warzone and the four of us all have a Xbox or PS5 coming. But none of us are that hyped for the launch titles ( I haven't even bought any).
