Wow 500 odd quid for some flimsy plastic. Doesn't look very strong at all.

Think of it as the opposite to a VW / Audi product, here they've spent the money putting all the expensive stuff on the inside that you can't see, and not wasted budget on the plastic bits that you'll only touch whilst you're plugging it in for the first time...

Fortunately it's a static non-load bearing games console.
If you were planning on using one as a frisbee, or to keep the corner of a dilapidated couch up level then you would be better off using a frisbee or a couple of old books, respectively.

Phones are for talking on, tvs are for watching. Both get dropped and broken.

Fail to see the problem. Its an appliance that you put on a shelf, press buttons on and stick the odd disc in to.

Should you need ot move it carry with both hands and set down gently, just like any other electrical device.

It isn't a doorstop / skateboard ramp / flowerpot stand / whatever else.

Wow, all I said it didn't seem very strong against knocks and bangs. I dropped my cordless drill the other day, tough enough to take it. Of course, it's designed for drilling but not dropping. Fanbois gonna hate any critism by the look of it!

It's not a cordless gaming console though is it, nothing to do with fanboys just nonsense

I'm only in my 30s, but personally I've never dropped a TV. Or damaged one. Or a games console for that matter.

To be fair though, I only moved on to juggling the really big objects once I had already got pretty good with the bowling pins.

Did you put subtitles on? The engineer says it was a deliberate decision. It means its quieter and has better performance.

From the video it is 39cm x 26cm x 10.4cm

According to a quick search a sky+ HD box is 38 x 24.5 x 8 so pretty similar.
