First mission of Hitman 3 is 'free to play' over the Easter weekend it seems.....Hopefully it'll go on 'sale' soon so I can buy it. Looks like a pretty grand end to the current trilogy of games.

£10 off with every new Google account you make, Fifa is currently £25 on Stadia. You can link 5 accounts to one Stadia signon I believe- I've got 3 so far.
How are you getting around the payment issue? I’ve only got a couple of cards and they’re both used on 2 accounts now. Going to buy PGA2k1 whilst it’s cheap (should get for £6.50 with the £10 off)

^ I did notice it wouldn't let me use my AMEX card last time, but I've got 4 cards so just used a different one.

Been using Stadia on Google TV (Chromecast) which requires you to sideload it. Its been working fine.

He's not been booted. He's gone to a new startup. This sort of stuff happens.

I get that but it's not exactly confidence inspiring and lets not discount Googles ability to just cut a service and give zero fks in the process.

I mean, https://killedbygoogle.com/ exists for a reason hehe

Really?

Looking at my games playing record it looks like I've managed to rack up 230hs+ of gaming since starting using Stadia last year, across a whole range of games. Am actually amazed at how much gaming I've been able to do now that games aren't tied down to one device/screen! Prior to Stadia I recon my xbox was been turned once every 6 months.

Am currently enjoying the not too serious to racing that is Grid (versus total focus needed for F1 2020).

Stadia does what its says it does, it just lets you play games. I'm very happy with it smile.

See Stadia is getting official Android TV support on some devices from June 23rd. I've been running it sideloaded on Google Chromecast TV for a few months so glad it will be official soon.

It should have been there from day one. Boggles the mind that Google didn't leverage all their platforms to offer it.

They have just missed a massive chance to capitalise on poor supply of PS5/Xbox Series X - if they'd had games in the pipeline they could have sold Stadia hard on the fact that anybody who signed up could actually get to play next-gen level games via their service.

Chromecast Google TV support is now active, got to say the finished app is a lot better than running the side loaded app which never worked 100% correct (the games played fine but the menus didn't work).

I've just got a 4K UHD TV in the new house, I don't subscribe to Stadia so cant use the 4K UHD option, does it make a huge difference? (got Vodafone 500 connection).

Only games I have so far are Cyberpunk and F1 2020.

Netflix is looking to getting into streaming games. I guess it depends on implementation and library, but that's not going to do this many favours.

I'm still using mine for F1 2020 and Cyberpunk 2077.

I still have RDR2 and GTA V on Xbox One.

Was hoping the GTA Trilogy would come to Stadia.

Really? I'm just hoping it will go away until they've done a proper job of it...

I love Stadia, I’m no longer a gamer, too old and too busy, but I love dipping into Assasin’s Creed occasionally when the wife is out and my son is in bed. No big investment in a console, just turn it on and go.

^The 'Sales' on Stadia have been great, picked up Borderlands 3 on the back of good reviews, but I just don't enjoy it that much, Ghost Recon Breakpoint on the other hand for £10 is the best value game I've bought on Stadia.

Work has been nuts recently, but been able to jump into some mindless shooter straight from back to back work meetings has kept me half sane. It's amazing how much 'spare' time I have found for gaming over the last 12 months+ when not tied down to a single TV/device in the living room or worry about updates/graphics drivers etc.

I wonder when Google will upgrade the server hardware to allow for the latest ray tracing stuff etc.

Am still not sure how Google is making money from this, but I hope they keep it going.
