Is it time for another already? How many purchases happened in the last volume, I wonder?

No.
We're in the unheard of position of a new volume beginning where pretty much everything is more expensive than at the start of the last.

18th January according to this morning's announcement. I can't get into the calendar fields. This was very helpfully posted for me, but my screen didn't display the final calendar input.

Perhaps not by way of such a marked jump but it has been the case since the thread started. In Vol 1 I bought a W140 S500 for £2250 they have not been that much for ages.

On the subject of tech in new cars the answer is buy an Aston Martin, the tech is about 20 years behind anything else so very thread even on really recent models.

Definitely there's always been cars appreciating out of thread, but there's always been newer stuff on its way down too, but not so much this time around.

This literally can't not go wrong, but at less than a bag you can't lose.

Just catching up on the last pages of the previous volume... Mercedes really do make the best looking wheels.

Hmm, you could buy it and put it straight in the bin where it belongs, and limit the damage to £1k.

Or you could run and fix it for several weeks, until you're living in it, and your best friend is a cat called Bert, who the friendly policeman pretends that he can also see.

Or, wildcard option, don't buy it at all.

That must be a wrap (or maybe even a respray) surely? I keep looking at these, and there was a really late 2010 example for sale just down the road from me a couple of months ago, but for the £6k+ they always seem to be advertised for there are so many better cars.

It says it's wrapped, no idea what it's real colour is.

If you drive it urban only and manage to get the full 11.7mpg then you are looking under 190 miles per 70l tank full, lol.
