New 350i arrived with a few little jobs to be sorted.
Front bumper sits lower than it should, where are the locating bolts and how do i get my hands to them?
There's a black paint line rather than the rubber seal but a rubber seal isn't sufficient to make up the difference
Thanks

Sorted, well almost anyway.

The wiring to the side lights was set up so it caught the opening in the main body so I've changed that
but the main snag is the bottom of the bumper hits the main body just right of centre. Only way to correct it is either grind away the bottom of the bumper or the underside of the body.....

Do the bumper I would say, as it's a replaceable part. You probably need a rubber strip on there which is about 10mm high, so it doesn't have to be flush with the nosecone. The rubber strip is usually a quadrant shape (cross section 1/4 of a circle).

Thanks Adam, I've got a (very) second hand strip on a spare front bumper which I'll try but the car will require some paintwork so afte a trial fit I'll leave it off.
Is the strip still available anywhere, would be nice to use new in such a prominent location.
Needing a few other bits of seal too like the length that goes around the rear roof section. The one that the windows and rigid roof panel fit against.

Spot on, thanks for that, just had a quick browse through the lists, can't see the seal that goes around the roof against which the side windows and roof panel rest, guess that's pretty generic? But I'm getting ahead of myself, doing too many things at once.
