Anyone have a spare seat going?

in an ideal world a grey one with red piping but I have a trimmer that can work wonders if need be - my existing one has been welded into a fixed position!

Hi Adam,

That’s what has been done already.

I’m restoring the seats at the moment so wanted to fix the recliner or get a replacement frame for the “repaired” one

Might be incorrect but the chap I bought my 350 off at the weekend said the seats were Metro with extra bolsters in the padding.
He'd owned the car for 14 years and knew a good bit about sourcing parts.....

Thanks for the tip. I am struggling to find a seat that has the spring loaded back rest. Most seem to have the winder on the side.

Something will turn up hopefully.

Those ones on eBay are just too expensive - I’ll think of something but in the mean time if someone does find something in the garage I could use...

I've heard that the SEAC seats were from a Montego and they look similar to the seats on my 390SE.

Tempting but at £800 per seat I can’t justify it.

Having the hood replaced at the moment. If I can restore the seats I have I’ll be happy - I have managed to remove all of the “upholstery paint” and luckily the materials underneath are in pretty good shape. Just a few parts of the leather need some work.

I’ll put some pictures up when I get a moment

From memory the side spring is the same as the Fiat X19.....worth double checking if you just need the spring???
