Oops. It was late lastnight hehe , my 512 order availability says Q3, the 64 and 256 say after Q3.

From here https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/t9h1z5...

"Here's a quick breakdown of where you probably landed based on when you reserved. The timeline starts at July 16 at 10am PST. This is based on US data, so it's going to look more lenient for EU folks.

For 64GB:

If you reserved in the first 5 minutes, you got in the first group (February)
If you reserved in the first 30ish minutes, you got in the second group (Q1)
If you reserved in the first 7 hours, you got in the third group (Q2)
If you reserved within the first 2ish weeks, you got in the fourth group (Q3)
Everyone else should be after Q3 gang
For 256GB:

If you reserved in the first 3 minutes, you got in the first group (February)
If you reserved in the first 13 minutes, you got in the second group (Q1)
If you reserved in the first 7 hours, you got in the third group (Q2)
If you reserved in the first 2ish weeks, you got in the fourth group (Q3)
Everyone else should be after Q3 gang
For 512 GB:

If you reserved in the first minute, you got in the first group (February)
If you reserved in the first 7 minutes, you got in the second group (Q1)
If you reserved in the first hour and 15 minutes, you got in the third group (Q2)
If you reserved in the first week, you got in the fourth group (Q3)
Everyone else should be after Q3 gang
This is based on US data (what data I could find) and is a rough estimate. If anything seems crazy off then comment and I can update it. Pretty interesting to see the timeline of how each filled up."

Wonder how big the first delivery batches are.
Either way I'll settle in for a bit of a wait for mine.

That looks pretty close for the UK queue too - I ordered at 18:29 BST / 10:29 PST and I'm Q2.

My deck was due to be delivered today, but Parcelfarce have shown their usual level of utter incompetence and fked up the delivery. Offiicial excuse: 'adverse weather' - on a day with blue skies and sunshine. The real reason: driver too stupid or lazy to bother looking past the roadworks sign and seeing that all the houses are easily accessible. ranting

I'm out all day tomorrow. banghead

I arranged redelivery for Wednesday and made it clear I don't want to hear any excuses from them about the road being closed, but the absolute faff of trying to speak to a real person at Parcelfarce is unbelievable! They really, really don't want to to talk to anyone. That kind of st's got to change. The have to contactable and accountable for their fk-ups and stop hiding behind endless 'press 1 for...' nonsense.

Finally!

I’d love to give my first impressions but the only one I have so far is that updating the OS is painfully slow :’(

Thanks biggrin

And this is what it's all been about for me:

Took a lot of faffing around, but got the GoG version running.

Congrats buddy!

Enjoy it and have fun too.

If you have Half Life 2 and Portal 2, and if you have time could you run them up to see how well they play please?

Thanks.

Still can’t decide whether to keep mine or not when it finally turns up in a month or so.

I think I’d use it but it’s been over 25 years since I last had a portable gaming platform. Ordered the 512Gb model with the fancy screen and case on the pre-order release date, so would expect it within the next 3 months I’d say.

Back to "Sometime after October" I do so deeply regret thinking about preordering for a month. At the rate it'll be combined 21-22 Xmas presents, no bad thing as far as the treasurer is concerned.
