I’ve been using the newest GT500 Skyline thing for Spa, it’s got slightly worse fuel economy than the 787B, but still excellent, and seems to corner even better. I’m doing low 2:15.xxx laps in both, it’s just nice to use something different occasionally
I opted for the M6 today..... Came second, bah !! Not tried the 787, I like my Lambo

Been thinking about different cars to use may give this one a try.Gave Spa a go in the 962 - it is a bit easy really, even with power down the thing has so much grip you can just go around the outside or inside of a corner ... Not too bad in the rain either with inters... Oh and it is so light on fuel..
I saw someone had a pic of the F1 car, can that be detuned to sub 800 pp?

Yeah that's me, I didn't do anything funky with the gearing, I got it down that far by removing all the down force and playing around with ballast and power, so it's not actually that quick in my spec. There's probably a much better way of doing it and retaining power. I saw someone had a pic of the F1 car, can that be detuned to sub 800 pp?
Mine ends up not handling well and not being much quicker than they are in a straight line when you're on fuel 6. Plus the added disadvantage of not being able to see particularly well at night.
On another note - glad I put some money aside for the new legends cars! F50 woohoo!
Been trying the circuit experience for the high speed ring for a while now, just can't get gold on the full lap. I really suck at these kinds of banked corners (corners 2 & 6). I see what the demonstration does and I just can't seem to replicate it. I'm about 3 tenths away. I have golds on the rest of the circuits i've tried.

Nice. I got the Nissan engine swap on a 4-star yesterday. Not much else of note lately.
I did the Fuji Touring Car 800 in the rain, massively bodged it up by gambling on slicks at the pit stop and came last. It did get me a 4-star roulette ticket for the daily mileage and ended up winning £1,000,000!rampageturke said:

I think I shifted down a gear as I entered the last left banked corner but didn’t brake, try to keep it wide too but you don’t need to fully follow the ghosts lineEdited by rampageturke on Wednesday 18th May 09:52

Minimum cash for a while now, though yesterday I won....sports suspension....about as useless as it gets.
I've not won any of the other parts you can't buy like carbon driveshafts yet either. How long would you have to play the game before you won carbon driveshafts for everything that they could be fitted to?!

I wasn't aware of these special parts that you cannot buy. Apparently there is also an ultra high rpm turbo for the R32 GT-R, Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari F40

It did make me laugh as I only won about 6000 from the race! I think the GT gods felt sorry for me.

Yes I have actually won the ultra high rpm turbo for the R35, it's for the Nismo version too. I can't remember how much it added but it's a decent chunk of bhp
So actually I have won one thing you can't buy. Rest of the parts have just been stock items
