Unbelievably, I've had 2 engine swaps from the roulette prizes on the new menu thing. The V8 from the Z4 GT3 goes into an E46 M3 and also the SR20DET that goes into the PS13 Silvia
Nice I seen one on my roulette spin but had 10k instead typical. Managed to jump on with a lobby with Rory Alexander who streams content on YouTube good fun races tbf.rampageturke said:
Been hearing more and more talk that quite a few of the online lobby issues maybe coming from the cross-play aspect between PS4 and PS5. (Sport mode doesn't cross-play IIRC)
A few issues addressed in todays update, mainly being able to change lobby settings after it's been made. But I have tried to do a few online sessions now, with people from close european countries, France, Germany, Spain etc. It's been impossible every single time to race, even with full green bar connection they are constantly shifting around left and right, forwards and backwards, impossible to race close.
The lobbies were fine for the first 2 months so it’s definitely something on PD’s endA few issues addressed in todays update, mainly being able to change lobby settings after it's been made. So, I have won two engines this week:
SR20DET (Silvia S15)
VR38DETT (Nismo GTR)
The SR20DET has been transplanted into the S13 Silvia K's. Not bad at all and realistic. Flat torque curve on standard turbo gives it pull throughout the rev range. Great for lower PP races.
The VR38DETT has been shoe horned into the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione. I decided to go all out, full race spec, the works. It is an animal, even with the torque split at 50/50 front/rear it is just mental. Produces 946bhp and weighs only 1,118kg.
The brakes are useless even fully upgraded, but it is a good laugh.

I didn't know you could put the GTR lump into a Delta Integrale that's mint! SR20DET (Silvia S15)

I did the Z4 GT3 V8 transplant into my M3 last night, it turns it into a really nice car to drift at 520bhp or so NA. It's now 780bhp with the high RPM turbo but haven't driven it yet.

The disconnects and lobby freezes were really bad the first month or so every other race was doing it at one point for me.

The lobbies have been glitched from the start you can tell how's playing on PS4 over ps5 players by the way the cars move. In the daily races they have split PS4 and ps5 players apart so there is an issue there also dropped car numbers from 20 too 16.

The daily races are slightly better after the update but not perfect so even separating consoles hasn't fixed it completely. I tried 2 random lobbies just to see if anything had improved last night and in both cars were jerking all over the place. Whatever is causing the issues has only been marginally improved with the console separation sadly. The disconnects and lobby freezes were really bad the first month or so every other race was doing it at one point for me.

Since the game was launched I’ve done the ‘daily workout’ pretty much every day. I think I may have missed 4 or 5.
I still have not won an engine. Instead I win invitations to buy cars that I already have in my garage.
I hate this roulette wheel system.
Complete the menus, one of the prizes is an engine.I still have not won an engine. Instead I win invitations to buy cars that I already have in my garage.

Probably the best track in North America.
Much different than modern F1/FIA grade tracks which feel very stop-start in comparison. The turn out of the boot section back onto the main track catching me out a little bit. And the first corner is much slower than I expected.Road America, VIR, Road Atlanta, Sebring etc next please PD.

Discovered that even the B/A rating daily races aren't immune from bell ends then tonight. Leading the Gr.4 race with half a lap to go and some bell end I'd been battling with decided to just take me out on the hairpin sending both of us into the barrier at about a million mph. No reason for it at all other than to just stop me winning the race because he wasn't going to.
