Considering selling to help fund my next car, but only if I get a decent amount for it.

Not wanting to go to any of these newreg style companies where they attempt to sell it for you & they take a big chunk.

Your input is very much appreciated

I'm not sure mate, it obviously would have been worth a lot more if it was just K66PUP. I think around £600 although I really have no idea of reg plate values.

Might be of interest to a breeder of demonic dogs (with legal spacing!) but other than that I'd say a number pretty close to zero.

As with anything...it's worth what you can get for it.

As a complete guess I would say the plate is worth £400-£600, although it actually could be worth more/less than that. To the right person it could be worth a grand maybe. I'd maybe do a bit of 'prospecting' and stick it on eBay, with a reserve of course!

I bought a number plate a few years ago for £250 directly from the DVLA website. In time the number-plate became innapropriate and so I decided to sell it. Two seperate cherished-plate firms offered me around £500 for the plate. When I turned this down they offered to advertise the plate for me...and recommended I ask £1,600 for it (of which they would take 10%). Shows they expected a healthy profit in the first place! I ummed and arred about it and eventually decided to let them advertise it. Three-months went by and there was no sniff of interest, so I removed the plate from the listing and forgot all about it. Then out of the blue I had an offer for £2,750 for the plate via a forwarded email. Needless to say I took them up on the offer. However, as the registration in question was so unique (and so weird that I daren't give it here) I reckon that the reg really did need the right person to come along and want it.

I think it's worth about a tenner but I'll give you £9 cash!

In seriousness I'd probably say around the £600 mark.

Suprisingly enough K66PUP wasn't available when I bought it, hence why I went for K666.

If you couldn't quite make out what it is meant to say then allow me to clarify. Yes, the 6 is meant to be an "E".

Christ.

I just don't understand the point of getting a reg number, altering the spacing of the digits or slightly altering them and hoping someone will think it means something else. How sad are some people.

It's a bit of personalised fun.

I actually think this one is quite cool, and would make me smile.

Will probably attract the BiB though.

I have personalised plates. If I were buing thisone I think I'd probably pay up to around 1k.

I just don't see the point of buying a performance car or race car, maybe altering the spec, hoping it will go faster or handle better. I mean, the traffic these days is so bad, and there's talivans and GATSOs...and what's the point of posting on an internet forum - and I mean, jeez, anyone who chooses to be different or spend money on anything I wouldn't, hell they're nuts. Sarcasm, though, that's cool.

I agree, I just can't see the point in any of it.

Am I in the Volvo owners club forum here? It would seem I am speaking to a load of grumpy old men.

A number plate spaced out to say something amusing, what is this world coming to? Oh the insanity! What next? Electric windows?
