What times are we on?
I'm struggling with a setup again, although have had a go at making one, seems reasonable but probably will turn out to be crap!

So far: 2:23:317

I shall be sitting this one out as I'm off on holiday this weekend - Dave, you're in charge!

Good luck chaps!

Fair enough...
Should be sitting it out myself to save disappointment - Do you think I still have chance of winning?

Do I have to download this track?

Sorry I missed the race on sunday, I was so hung over and tired after getting in at 7am that I thought i would just get in the way and finish last anyway.

GRR! Why are you so fast. It's the setups I struggle with, got one I thought was OK but Adam caned me with a default one . I know I could probably get at least 2 secs off but not too easily, should be alot easier against a default setup surely?!

Tough decision time... I'm way off FWD's GT40 pace (2m27s) and also way off Ian's 906 pace (2m19s).

Bring back the weight penaly system!

I find most of the default setups get better with a bit of rear (neg) camber and if you want to go anywhere near the curbs some higher suspension helps they all seem to be set at the bottom of the range.

My pace with the elan was so slow that I dont dare post it

In thr 906 I just did two laps and did a 2.21, but I missed about half the apex's.

I think I might run in 76 class this time around as I cant get the GT40 around very quickly without crashing, where as the 906 is fairly easy to drive.

I could do with some help on the pitstop strategy... how do I make the stop as short as possible? I allways damage my car (its inevitable) but I dont want to spend 3 min in the pits haviong it all fixed, id rather drive it a bit bent.

Run an AI race or two and deliberately crash, go into the pits and take a good look at the menu that appears, by default damage repair is on, no fuel is added and the tyres changed (IIRC) so you have to change those 3 options to suit.

Ahha..

And will it remember my choices from then on, or will I have to change them as soon as I pit?

You get the pit menu and choices when you stop at the pitstop you can't set them before the race so you have to make decisions whilst sitting in the pits.

Realised I had never driven the full GP version, managed a 2'17'2 in a race with Adam and Tony after 7 laps (in the Pantera) Happy with that for the first practice session.

We'll I've somehow found 8 seconds/lap in the GT40 and now I'm faster than FWD Not very consistent though...
