The GTA 4 CHATTER Thread

I dont know what it is, but every time I see a video clip of this game, I just think....'meh'...loved Vice City, San An was good, but just cant get excited about this one.

I have to say, I'm with you on this. San Andreas did the hiphop thing over and over and utterly flogged it to death. I know this is based around an Eastern European bloke, but all the music and style so far has been hiphop. Maybe I'm just caught in a Streethawk-esque 1980s timewarp, but the music seemed more diverse in Vice City. I was pondering buying a 360 for this, but I think I will wait until it arrives and I can see for myself.

I have just pre ordered mine from Gameplay (1st class an extra 99p). Hopefully it will turn up the day before the release date. Cant wait for the online game play.

Nah, I can't believe that. DLC yes, but now way they'd restrict MP to the 360. He must be referring the XBL generally, not spectifically in relation to GTA4.

I did read a while back that all the footage has been from the 360 version. Has that changed yet?

BTW - have you guys played around with the websites since it went live? I had to switch to firefox and refressh a bunch of times before I could get it to work. On IE, none of the menus come up. Wierd.

Yeah it might have been misheard or something, but it will be a killer blow if it's true.

I don't think it has changed at all, every single bit of footage and pic thus far is from the 360 version.

There is no word on any PC version at all yet.
