We'll give it a go with the BMW M3's to start with and see how things go, I reckon they'll be hilarious - I drove one just now, after mainly driving a near stock mk2 golf - I found it to be a rocket ship, albeit with a fair bit of wobbliness! (just started on my own xbox, played on my mates before endlessly)

What sort of laptimes are people doing? Very tempted but don't want to be completely humiliated

I am open to suggestions for days/ times?

I was thinking of running it in a similar manner to the speed championship my dad competes in. Say we do 10 races, your best 8 are all that count, that way, anyone who misses the odd race wont be missing out too badly and allows for the odd mistake... I've just driven an E36, I dont remember them being this hairy!! evil

I am all ears to suggestions, keep them coming.

I never get home from work much before 8 these days, so an 8/8:30 start would be good for me. I suspect you guys might want to start earlier though.

I am not entirely sure what an OP is? But thanks for any offers of support, will no doubt be needing it shortly!

Blimey, this is the first time I've used vinyl thingys too, just made a novice sticker - took farrrrrr too long for something so simple. hehe

OP = Original Post ie; first one in the thread.

I find it helps keep things nice and tidy and I usually update it after each night with the results to make it easy to understand at a glance. It also saves folk that are new to the championship raking through all the pages trying to work out the rules!

Some might call it OCD.. but hey ho! hehe

Have a look at the one on the PHGTC thread and it might make a bit more sense! biggrin

Anyone got any thoughts on the M3? I love it, but its rather wobbly at times... would anyone object to allowing suspension mods to be free? That way, it'll test our set up abilities as well as our racing, and hopefully allow for more stable racers. Again, any thoughts on this are most welcome. I think the car is great (and mines starting to look ok-ish) but allowing suspension (springs dampers only - not ARB's etc) would make things far more interesting?

I am happy with whatever the general feeling is, so I am just putting forward a suggestion... thoughts? smile

Had a quick play with it last night and it seemed ok tbh, but I wasn't really pushing too hard. How about starting with the car as standard, try a race or two and then make a decision on the upgrades ?

I always think you should have a standard car, it's tricky to tell which mods people have and haven't done.

I'd like to join in, if there's room. I'm not that good but I play fair and really enjoyed the PGR4 time trials we did earlier this year.

What night/time are you looking at?

Cheers
