Just had a run. Turned the ghost car and background music off. Did 66 laps back to back. And I picked a red car.

The payback for this effort? Four tenths of a second grumpy
biglaugh

Alfanatic can you point me in the right direction how to switch of the ghost car ? looked everywhere in the options, but ive been on the beer
I was pressing random buttons on the wheel trying to turn the music off. Failed to do so, had to go to options for that. But when I went back to the track the ghost was turned off.

So, it's one of the buttons biggrin

Does that mean you're going to go even faster now that you can see the track?

I doubt I'll get anywhere near 1'42s here, seem to be using all the track space but can't find much more time so far. I'll have a more determined go tomorrow and I really must stop playing Sim City 4 for hours and hours (how addictive?).

Sorry but no tuning is allowed twentyk, unless specified all cars are standard power/weight.

what about driver aids - I had mine both turned on?

I had a feeling it was too good to be true!

Driver aids are allowed, that's fine but ASM will slow you down in my experience so it's better to learn without.

i find the some inportant thing on this track is to maximize the speed out of the tight bends and not to tap the walls, so like on the last one i aim at the wall slow right down then shot out smile and i'll give it a go later and post a time.

Shuvi 1'42.652 PAD

I can't get to my garage/playroom again until Sat' at the earliest, so today probably was my last attempt at this. So I gave it 30-35 laps. If I could get onto, around and off Columbus carrying some speed, I'd do a great lap, however, it's two out of three only for me. frown

I did go faster though. smile
