Still play it around once a month - mostly against son as its still his friends go to game.
It also had a brief revival at Christmas with the VR version ..

Thread bump. I got this over xmas for the Switch as a therapy tool, something to stop me watching the news all the time.

I've had it three days. I've already built Wayne Manor on a hill top and dug under it to create the basics of a batcave, complete with long tunnel out through a waterfall. I went cave diving last night and got lost. When I looked at the clock I'd been on it for SIX F**KING HOURS.

If I'd had this when I was a kid I'd have never left the house again. It's INFINITE Lego.

Oh and I lost the house twice so far.

Our lad lost his house and it took ages for me to find it. I since learned you can make a note of the coodernates and teleport back if you get lost. Mind, I'm not up to speed on the game so I'm sure someone else can explain it better or Google. smile

hehe

I literally got it as a distraction. It bloody worked.

I'm currently working on a series of tunnels under the hill Wayne Manor is located on top of. Can't believe the size of some of the caves under there.

The game has so much more content now but I guess its well over a decade old. I was watching someone on youtube play it for the first time recently and its almost inconceivable that somebody has never played Minecraft before.

Make a compass from steel and redstone to lead you back to spawn.

See I tried to use the compass last night but it took me back to the first place I started out in the game, not my new house. I have figured out how to type in co-ordinates now though!

Make a bed in the new house, sleep in it.
This resets the spawnpoint to the bed.
( or cheat and use /spawnpoint...)

Hi guys

My wife bought Minecraft for my son a while ago, she ordered it from Amazon, we live in Singapore but for some reason the Europe (Inc. UK) version was delivered.
It works fine, but it came with a voucher code for 700 tokens in-game currency, only redeemable in Europe.

It's not worth much but it's free and due to expire 3/12/2022 (I don't know if that's 3rd of Dec or 12th of March)

Hope it works for someone JRK5 - QRN2 - 2LCQ

Shame there was no answer to this, my son is playing on an iPad and I’m wondering if it’s worth me buying the game on my phone or tablet so multiplayer play can happen? Is that possible?

We’d be connected to the same WiFi network.

I was surprised to see that my PC game purchase came with a free tablet version. But, they do not work together out of the box. So....

I created a Minecraft server for free at Aternos

I then set it up so that the kids can play on it with Android tablets and the PC. They can invite other kids on to their server even on different networks.
