Well I was pretty handy with mines on BC2 too, but swapped to C4 for BF3 because they always showed up on the mini map, but with the reversal I shall be swapping back to eng/mines again for the tank maps (mostly, as its still good fun trying to outwit a tank driver and get some C4 on his chariot )

One thing about mines in BF3 though is that you rarely get bomb holes to lay them in. Despite the added destruction, the ground seems to be made of, well, something other than dirt lol. And there don't seem to be as many hidey holes/shadows to lay them.

theres a guy who always trolls the battlelog forums and goes on about how good he is.. His main weapon is the usas12 with frag rounds and he MAVs all day long..

Someone on there killed him in game and posted a video

it makes sense to me. You stuck c4 to it, unless someone takes it off, why wouldn't it still be there. Alas, it's not that big a deal.

The best way to fix the C4 would be to only make it detonatable by the actual kit that dropped it. Thus, if the support bloke kamikazes himself trying to C4 a tank, but manages to get a few on - someone else would be able to pick up his kit and detonate the C4 he's placed.

Makes so much more sense than it simply vanishing into thin air.

Don't know what's happened but I tried to look up this guys stats and I can't find him on battlelog or bf3stats??

Maybe he cried his name out of existence!!!

I don't know what this guy did but that is a high level of hatred so I guess he must be a complete knob head.

The one thing I love about the Battlelog forums is that it's impossible to bullst about how good you are, because one click pulls up ALL your stats.

Gone back to Bad Company and instantly everything I dislike about BF3 is magnified.

More fluid movement and hit detection are the only things better about 3.

It shouldn't be that way.

Finally got stealth for the jet. Any good? My flying is getting better but I still suck at killing stuff.

I unlocked 'under radar' for jets last week but can't see it on the list of perks, and don't know what it does.

It's a permanent / automatic upgrade, no selection required, it's already there. It's balls, TBH though. Only works for air to air, doesn't do anything if the target is already locked, and you need to be damn near skimming the ground for it to be effective.

Stealth is decent enough though.

Apparently Below Radar is being buffed in the patch to give protection against AA as well as air to air but flying so low leaves you wide open to RPG or Tank fire.

I tend to agree. BFBC2 is simply more *fun*.

Computer says yes;

"-The F35 will now only attempt to enter Hover at low altitudes, though it will maintain the hover until forward flight is resumed, even if it reaches high altitude."

Whether or not that actually fixes it will remain to be seen however, this is Dice afterall.
