I havnt played for ages because it wont work for me anymore. When I last formatted my hard drive and re-installed BF2 + Patches, there were hardly any servers to choose from, and if I did get in punkbuster kicked me out after 30secs I'm usually on 2f4y... the name's an animal with hooves.

That is annoying. You need to check on PB's website as there's some tool that checks everything is working. Also bin AVG as that causes BF2 to crash and doesn't like PB either. As for servers, there are some good ones (2f4y, SUPER, FSFA, Gotland, MOOF) but they tend to be packed out.RemainAllHoof said:

I'll give this a try, I've got AVG so that could be why. Really hope it works, will give me something to do after im made redundant!

Ouch!Also stopped using that firewall (forgotten the name) and started using MSE as per recommendations from PH. That helped with PB, too.

No, BC2 was a "spin off" this is the sequel to Battlefield 2. Similar mindset and approach but BC2 is a bit "dumbed down" and more arcade feel. BF2 is a more large scale and greater squad elements.
